Just an observation. This schedule looks tougher and tougher each week. Not intended to offend anyone, I was just curious of the numbers so far. Scores for each team is the avg not including the game against Trinity.

I know in the Trinity / Heritage game at the end 3 or 4 starters came out, so that is why they went to the prevent so early. I am fully aware they scored 28. And they earned all 28.:)

Hey, we got beat that night. And with ya'll going D1 and us D2, we will have to wait until next year for another shot:D

Good luck to the Trojans the rest of the way.

I thought all 28 were scored on the starting D

Moral of the story -

You can't give Hill and his recieving corps time back there, no matter how good you think your defensive backfield is

Going conservative on offense and a soft zone on defense works against most teams when you're holding a big lead that late in the game, but it is the quickest way to Defeat against Colleyville. CHHS is a DANGEROUS team.

We did have two players out at the start of the game, one of the starting boys was, well should we say, working through some major pain with the aide of adrenaline. When three players are either injured or being cautious, our defense and anyone else's, tend to let things get to close for the comfort of the fans and polls.

Colleyville just simply came out after half time with adjustments that we struggled to defend.

Great Kids, Coaches, fans and over all classy program!

I am glad to see that they will have an opportunity for a State Championship without having to get there by eliminating Trinity!;)

Good luck and good health to CHHS, in their journey in to the playoffs!

CHHS def has a great team.

Co-sign. I had the Bell/Heritage game last Friday night and it was a good game, but I REALLY came away impressed with how CHHS plays.

I can see them going deep into the state tourney.

You guys look really tough again this year...we have played you guys 2 out of last 3 years in the finals(and lost)...even though Judson is not playing it's best now, we all know how we can turn it on in the playoffs(6-4 regular season last year) and lost to you guys 13-10 last year...Your team this year looks even stronger...

We would be honored to play you guys once again...what do ya'll say, want to go for another???

Are there too many threads designed to make Trinity look good started by Trinity fans? We are good, but IMO we are teetering on arrogance by beating our own drum. Just a thought. We have never lacked for those non-Trinity fans that would step up at times on our behalf.

I would call those Trinity posters to practice a little more humbleness.

Humbleness has nothing to do with it... What are we supposed to talk about on here??

Except for the CHHS game week, there really hasn't been much or anyone to discuss.

I would say for the most part Trinity Fans are humble...complimented repeatedly on that fact by the same fans from other teams that come to our defense.

We really just want to exchange view points...no harm in that.

jroc, it's been a learning year, I guess is the way I'd put it. It's so different being the top dog with that huge target. There are no games where you can sneak up on any one. Every team plays you like it's their super bowl and the fans show up in huge numbers to see #1 get knocked off. It's just way different than years past. Still fun and humbling though.

I don't worry about those Rockets. They always take it up a few notches when the playoffs roll around. Maybe we'll have a chance to meet you guys again soon.

Two questions for you Jroc: Any truth to what I've heard about the coach retiring? And, how is your son doing?

It's cool to hear from a Judson fan. I think Trinity's developed quite the nice little rivalry with you guys considering every single State Championship game Trinity has played in has been against Judson. I'd be ecstatic if Trinity got the chance to defend their title against you guys. But, that's a long way from now.

Trinity's hasn't really sneaked up on anyone in a while ;):) but 'backer still hit the nail on the head. There's a ton of opponents that have Trinity circled on their calendars(not to mention how vulnerable they think Trinity is), that Trinity will have to bring their A game to beat of course. Trinity still has some work to do to be considered as good a bet to make a deep run as the Judson's, Katy's, and Southlake's of the world. Good luck to Judson and pray for Trinity.

I'm not sure I'll agree about the figures there, but I can't definitely say they're wrong. If my short term memory works at all, I think Trinity was up 35-7 or 35-14 with about 9 minutes to go in the game. Not sure it was backups in the 4th quarter, but I do know the defensive scheme changed. Went back to a 3 man rush, for one thing.

Again, I'm not great with remembering exact details a few weeks later, especially at this time of night.

Maybe someone else can verify.

Two of the boys were injured in the two games previous and another enduring a large amount of pain and still playing but not hitting on all cylinders. Not that starters were pulled!

No problem....

Weather is going to be good for Football:D:D

Should be a game that we will see alot of boys from the bench... If you think about it give a yell or two for #84, my son!! Plays TE and as of last week DE don't no who will use him first. However, I am baking cookies for both Coordinators!:)

Not like it will change anything...

If JV shows us anything...It will be a long night for Grapevine!!:(

Why does there always have to be one team that is the underdog to everyone??
