I know Kindle is one of the best LB prospects to come through in a while and I know that Texas is about as loaded as you can be at RB, but you have to look at this kid's numbers and video and wonder if you wont see him carry the rock a time or two.

2300 rushing yards (over 10 ypc average) and 41 TDs. A 6'4 225 freak with 4.5 speed.

I'm not saying he should be an every down back or anything like that, but Texas doesn’t really have a "mid-range" type of RB. A bigger guy (not quite as big as Hank the Tank) that can pound the ball a few times. I look at these highlights and I'm thinking Kindle could find himself carrying the ball a couple times a game while at Texas...

vs. Carrollton Ranchview (http://win81il.audiovideoweb.com/il81win15069/2005carrolltonranchviewvwoodrowwilson.wmv)
vs. Dallas Adamson (http://win81il.audiovideoweb.com/il81win15069/2005adamsonvwoodrow.wmv) (5 TDs on just 9 carries  )
vs. Dallas Lincoln (http://win81il.audiovideoweb.com/il81win15069/2005lincolnvwoodrow.wmv)
vs. Dallas Jefferson (http://win81il.audiovideoweb.com/il81win15069/2005thomasjeffersonvwoodrow.wmv)
vs. Lake Dallas (http://win81il.audiovideoweb.com/il81win15069/2005lakedallasvwoodrowwilson.wmv)

Regardless of where he plays, I just cant wait to see him in burnt orange. The kid is a beast the likes of which we havent seen in a while.

I've only seen some highlites of him... but he's a "stud" for sure.

He reminds me alot of the DJ Williams kid from California a few years back that was the USA Today HS (POY) and went to the Univ-Miami. He also reminds me of Derrick Johnson.

Horns got a great one in this kid. I would really like for UT to put him in at LB and settle him into that position. I think he's got the ability to be an All-American caliber player at the "LB" after a year or two of seasoning. :D

PS. I dont like the picture that the Dallas News has of Kindle getting flipped upside down on his head by Wylie.

the kid is amazing and will be enrolling for the spring. I am not sure what the rules are regarding spring enrollment and bowl game practicing, but I know that he will go through spring drills and be ready to start his first game for the Longhorns.
