Metallica fans

I'm glad to hear we have some Metallica fans on the board. I have a question for you guys that I have been debating myself for a little while now.

Is Metallica better now with Robert Trujillo on bass than they were with Jason Newsted? I know they haven’t done a studio album with Trujillo yet, but he has been with them and performed live for a little while now. Thoughts?

Rob Trujillo is terrible. Suicidal Tendencies is quite possible the worst band to have ever cut a record. Why anyone ever bought their crap is far beyond me. It would be like Wide purchasing an Abba CD without being under the influence.

Trujillo is a good bass player. Wasnt he a bass player for Ozzy?

Yes. Mainly for Suicidal Tendencies though.

Trujillo is a blast to watch, but I think Newsted might have been the better bass player. I don't know. Both have such different styles.
