Can all three district 26 teams progress onto the third round? 2 have so far with Madison over clark 40-38 and Judson over OC 30-28

those games were a lot tighter than a lot of people figured including myself.

Doesn't matter playoff win is just as good if you win by 1pt or 50pts. close does not count at this time of the year.

Still can't admit when you see a good game. Thats ok! you are right about one thing a win is a win, especially in the playoffs.

Hope you did not take may statement the wrong way. I had predicted a Rocket win by 2+TDs. I just want to be the first to say I was surprised how close the game was. That is not a slap at Judson, I think the Rockets played a great game like they always do in the playoffs. I just think OC played much better than I had anticipated. After what I saw against Jay I did not think OC had the heart to keep up with Judson. My statement was just an admittance that OC has more heart and character than I thought.
Both teams played a great game and pulled out all the stops. And the best team won on the field. I would also like to say that in both the Madison v Clark game and the Judson v OC game the officials did a great job of staying out of the way. They let the kids play and let them decide the game on the grid iron, GREAT job to the crews.

Wow...what a couple of games last night for the 26-5. Congrats to O'Connor and Clark on great seasons and fantastic appearances last night. I said a week ago that I would rather be facing Clark than Jay at this point and if they come into today as prepared as their bothers from 27-5 it is going to be hella game. Good luck to SV and Jay.

I have to agree on the refs shooter. One hanky hit the rug at Judson stadium tonight. There were a lot of calls (both ways) that could have changed the outcome, but they let the teams decide the game. I do have a question. On an on-sides kick, if the kicking team touches the ball before it travels 10 yards, is it considered dead at that point?

Yes. It's called illegal touching and the ball would have been Judson’s at the point where they touched the ball. From where I was standing....
I did not see it.

Yes, it is. You have to let it travel 10 yards or have the other team touch it first.

I would like to congratulate both 26-5A teams for winning and the 27 guys for playing hard. I've said all year you have a good district that's just not as good as 26-5A.
I'll take a win by any amount and hope for a bigger victory next week. Judson and Madison should both win next week. SV should beat Jay, too.

Nobody said they didn't see a good game. They're not taking anything away from O'Connor and are actually saying you guys played better than they thought you would.

looked like to me that the guy who touched it first, touched it at the 48 yard line, and then took his hands off, then let it go 2 more yards where OC recovered. Then they marched down the field for a TD.If Judson would have lost, that would be all you heard for awile, that play the refs let go.I`m glad it didnt make the difference in loosing.Really good play calling on the OC side, they Kept that good Judson defense off balance a bit.

From where I was sitting, it appeared he touched the ball at the 47 or 48. I believe the Judson boys relaxed after contact hence the reason for the recovery. I'm also glad that call didn't decide the outcome of the game and also think it's a little shortsided on your part to believe we would use that as an excuse for the loss. There were many MO changing plays in the game. We just happened to make the one with very little time left on the clock.
