I hope this game hasn't lost its luster after the Lufkin loss to Conroe. I went on a road trip a few years back with KT2000 and KtCarl to watch Lufkin play Cove in the playoffs. I met many Lufkin posters including Wide and pack0808.
One Lufkin fan I met there was a guy named Vance Stiles. He is in his late 70s. I encouraged him to join this board and he did. His poster name is Coldspringpanther. He lives in Coldspring. He never posts. We have always kept in touch for the past few seasons, calling each other at halftime, and just talking HS football.
He is about 35 years older than me. He is a big time Lufkin fan. Big time. Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing him for the first time since the Cove game. I'll be sitting on the Lufkin side with Vance Stiles.
