The boys pulled it out tonight, in what I consider to be one of the most nerve-wracking games I've listened to as an Abilene high Eagle fan. Props to the Plainsmen for such a good game. It went into OT, AHS scored, then intercepted a Monty pass.
Next up for the BoB is the winner of the SLC/Allen game, and they have a message for you...

i think people will be very disaspointed when they attend the SLC Abilene game in search of a good game..should be over quickly as i dont see SLC getting a challenge till the semifinals

that band of brothers audio, i just don't know what to say about it. it's kinda weird kinda like a brainwash tape. don't get me wrong i'm an abilene high fan but it is kinda weird.

What would the point of brainwashing the team that's already sold on the concept of team unity be? I just don't see it. :p

Warren can sell and motivate all he wants; if his play calling and game plans dont get better we will be blown outta the water. Motivation is great; selling a team is wonderful but the most important area is the x's and o's and once again his was lacking tonight. Im glad so many SLC fans are acting the way some of us were before the Monty game. I believe these same ones probably acted the same way last year. PLEASE SLC FANS THAT THINK YOU'RE FACING AN EASY GAME: go and tell ALL YOUR PLAYERS WE SUCK AND ARE AWFUL! PLEASE! tell them AHS is worse then DR or Grapevine or Allen...whatever you want.

lol!! that audio is the stupidest thing i have ever heard, especially when they're going lose to carroll again. i love how this guy keeps rambling on and repeating himself to a background of crappy rock music. i love all the hyperbole of how good they are. there's something vaguely homoerotic about it :rolleyes:

Wow, I can't believe that goes on for over 10 minutes. And I agree with adrian, it does sound like a propaganda/brainwash tape. It's a little disturbing.

Ok, just so you guys will know what the "Band of Brothers" tape really is. All the varsity players were asked by the team chaplin to write two sentences describing what the team meant to them. The tape seems very repititive because so many of the players said basically the same thing. It was meant as something for the team to remember each other and the year. Nothing else.
