Guess the Titans don't miss whatshisname at all. Maybe the Cowboys can sign him for another addition to their halfway house.

The Texans might be able to pick him up cheap. I'd like to see him in a Texan uniform. Might be just what both the Texans and Vince needs.

Not in the pros at least... In the pros his ability to out althlete defensive players is gone and without the great running threat from him he loses his ability to pass entirely...

Mario Williams sure looks like a great pick now doesnt he

He has had about 8 or so 200+ yard performances. I will admit that he never played that great as a quarterback but Kerry Collins hasn't played any better. 11/18 for 128 yards is not a step up from Vince Young...

Point is that we've heard for the last couple of years that it didn't matter what stats VY had "he just wins." Apparently the Titans "just win" with Collins in at QB as well. So why is it we're supposed to be agog at pro VY (not college VY)?

throwing the ball to the other team was something young did well in the nfl...collins isn't going to put up dazzling numbers, but he's a good game manager and that's all he needs to be with the defense and running game the titans have. so yes, he's an upgrade...which is a testament to how bad young really has been so far in the nfl...

he got injured...was playing poorly...then a big controversy went on how he wanted to quit football and was missing for a few hours and the police were called. titans did the smart thing by benching him and putting a veteran qb in there instead...

Seems the Titans are still on a roll without VY. Great college player, but no so when it came to the pros, which is not unusual.

he's still got time to grow and mature as a backup...if he doesn't, then he'll go down as one of the biggest busts of all time..

he is on the sidelines sitting behind a more experienced QB. He needs to learn the complexity of the level before he is READY to step foot on the field...he will be fine.
