I just noticed on the Lufkin website how many players are coming back next season. They have alot of WR's leaving, but a good runningback,Qb, Defense, and excellent kicker are all returning. I think pretty much the whole offensive line as well. Looks good maybe if everyone thing goes well. I know I am thinking to far ahead, but just a interesting subject to bring up.

The last thing i want to think about right now is next season!! This is a thread for fan's with teams that are done for the year. I will still give you my quick opinion. It is not much different then this year except Lufkin will lose a lot on defense but will have a lot returning on offense. They will be similar to the 2004 team in my opinion.

If Lufkin loses tomorrow...we know who to blame.

Now I have to pour out a beer...and do my good ju-ju ceremony...
Well...maybe I won't pour out the beer...but damnit I am doing the ceremony just to be safe.

Hey, you guys will be fine..I'm lookin past Allen & Abilene and wanting to see your guys and your fans again..it just does'nt get any better than Carroll vs. Lufkin! Think about this...where would they play this time? Waco? I don't think so..How about Aggie land?

Rich they will lose 7 starters on defense and they will have their 2 top wr's back in Bryant and Thomas so you need to try again. ;) I guess he is going by the whole roster i am not sure?? I do not want to talk about next year but i had to point that out. Let's talk about next year after Lufkin has that fat ring on.

Well we've never officially been Buda Hays or anything like that. Around the Cen-Tex area we're just Hays. To everyone else in the state, we're a number of names.
Buda Hays
Hays Consolidated
Buda Hays Consolidated
and sometimes even
Buda Hayes.
And you pronounce it BU-DA, not BOO-DA.

My one smack talk of all week which happens to be sarcastic and I'm belittled to a version of a Harker Heights fan... that's low.

We bring a strong contingent of fans, we'll be there painted up as usual. I'm filling my truck so i'm bringing 6 including myself. 2 1/2 hours, not a problem, we'll be there about 2 hours before hand cooking and tailgating. Do you know the policy on grills and cutting utensils on stadium grounds?
