back on aug 29, the dunbar wildcats of fort worth texas came to your home stadium to play you guys in a football game, that they actually accepted
at the last minute after the team prevously schedule to play yall backed out
of the game. yall gave dunbar a serious butt kickin 55-14, but guess what,
since then dunbar has won six games in a row outscoring their opponents
298-78, including a 51-7 win tonite over southwest, last year's district champs,as a alumni and fan of dunbar we appreciate that game, for i doubt
we will see a better team this year than yall, while i dont have visions of state championships or anything like that, i have trinity for that:), i do think
that dunbar has a shot at winning a playoff game or two, which for us
would almost be like a championship, so again thank you abilene and
good luck the rest of the way, unless you play TRINITY of corse,

Congrats on your successful season....here's hoping you guys get a chance to play Cooper in the playoffs. They beat FW O.D. Wyatt the same weekend you guys played AHS. Cooper almost beat AHS this year....AHS had to make 2 goalline stands in the last 2 minutes to preserve the win.... and had tough losses to 2 other 5A playoff teams in predistrict. So far in district they have blown out Hereford and San Angelo Lakeview.

I see where you guys gave FW Southwest a serious beatdown last night. Apparently that loss to us made Dunbar pissed.;) Dunbar has great team speed and Rockwell the QB has some serious wheels. I would love to have Darius White lining up at WR for Abilene High. I'll bet colleges are already calling on him even though he is just a junior. Good luck the rest of the way.:)

Dunbar really didn't look like a bad team in that game, they at least had some decent athletes. They just looked undisciplined, maybe the AHS game woke them up. I hope they do well the rest of the year.
