One of the key players for the Garland Owls is 5'4" 150 lb senior running back Voss Williams. Last week against John Tyler, 4th down and six from the TJT 39 with time running low, Coach Jordan ran Voss right up the middle and right over the goal line. Maybe everyone in the stadium was surprised but I wasn't.

Voss Williams is not big. You won't see him in the NFL. He may not make much of a splash in college. So he deserves his props now, because right now he is greatness. If your team has someone like him, tell us.

Give it up for the little guys.

If it weren't for Voss Williams, I'd be Christmas shopping.

Wow that is ridiculously small. Good story though. I don't think that there is anyone that small over at SLC that has made a huge impact.

well there are the very undersized defensive tackles that are small for a defensive tackle. I think they are all under 220

Lets hear it for Kelcie Oliver, the best small linebacker in the state. That kid eats his Wheaties.

Our starting center went down on the 1st series last week and our back up senter went into the game. John Passmore is 5'5" and 150 lbs playing 5A football. He played his heart out and we won a close game.

I think Voss may be smaller than what is listed. Standing on the sidelines, he looks like about 5'2 and 130lbs. He was the big play MAN against JT. Like I have said, he sells tickets :)

the jesuits have a little linebacker. Don't know what his numbers are but he might be the smallest HS player I have seen.

THe old expression is true. It is not the size of the dog in the fight, it is the size of the fight in the dog that matters.

I think that Arlington Sam Houston's backup runningback is the smallest football player I have ever seen, but he is so fast. Do any other people remember this kid. Carroll scrimmaged them there this season
