There was a guy who used to go to Seguin names David Scott. The best football athlete I have ever met in my life and didn't play football after his sophomore year in HS, mainly because he was very undisciplined. David used to walk all over the football team; he missed practice, walked out of practice, and disrespected the coaches in front of the team yet he still played under the former regime. Coach Kuckerak got fired and there was a new sheriff in town, Coach Carson. David tried that with Carson and he wasn't having it. He was off the team in less than a few weeks. Another reason he didn't play football is because he thought he was a basketball player. He wasn't though. Don't get me wrong, he was a great HS basketball player but was an undersized power forward at the next level. He was 6'2 230 lbs. The guy never worked hard in the weight room a day in his life yet was in tip top physical shape benching over 320 LBS. He ran a 4.4 too. He would have been a D1 linebacker or running back or something. Still, the best football athlete I have ever seen yet he isn't playing anywhere. It is pretty sad that he made the choices he made. I still maintain that if we had Carson in here as a coach when he came in as a freshman he would be playing at UT or some Big 12 school. The other coaches just didn't get him off on the right track.

Some of you who played basketball against the Mats a few years ago may remember him.

When I was young, my dad told me that you can get seriously hurt in football and since I was like 6 or 7 I didn't want to get hurt. So I had no interest in football until mid 9th grade. He also told me that whenever a player made a touchdown they had to do a celebration dance. I was afraid that if I danced in any kind of way I would just embarrass myself. I probably would have tried out had he not told me those things. Not sure how good I would have been. Probably the best...

I'm sure you would have been, and I would have been an NFL Hall of Famer had seven concussions in three seasons not forced me to retire from football while I was in College. I would have been a late round pick (5th or 6th) and my 4.3 speed would have melted NFL DB's. Seriously! But it wasn't ment to be now was it? :D

Bugs Bunny. I once saw him play football and Elmer Fudd was playing defense with a shotgun. Bugs gets to like the two or three yard line with Elmer in the way. Just as he shoots at Bugs, Bugs digs a tunnel into the endzone and scores. Must have been a pro game or he would have been down when his knee hit right? :D

My Uncle Rico. If coach would have put him in in the 4th quarter we would have won state. He could throw a pigskin over a mile.

LMFAO. Uncle Rico could also throw the pigskin over a mile, he swears it. Man, if coach would have just put him in the fourth quater his life would have turned out a lot different.
