If that's what it takes, y'all are in bigger trouble than I thought. Each week over on the KTrain, we try to come up with a run through sign. Everyone pitches in. Some are silly, some are funny, but most are just a lot of razzing. It's our booster board, do y'all have one? The run through sign is one of the best traditions at Katy. It keeps the school involved and we don't have to buy velcro every year. The fans love it, because it is game specific. It really is sad that other schools went to the cheapy vinyl signs, no creativity. I remember WAYYYY back when I was in, all schools had run through signs that were painted and had the student body involved in making them. Not so anymore, it really is sad. To each his own, I suppose.

Actually, it's not. They should have been fired up already! If it takes some chest bumping to get them fired up, I'd be very concerned. This is a district game and one they have to win to have a chance at the post season....they all matter...so they should be ready to go without having to come over to our board and retrieve "fan" message board stuff. Do your players think that the Katy Tigers think this way? They are not reading the board, if they are, they are just laughing and rolling their eyes. They know what they have to do to obtain the goals the set forth at the beginning of the year. They have had some set backs, but they are on task. First goal is always WIN DISTRICT. Do you know who stands in their way this week? That's right 7L! That's their focus, not trash talk from either side.

BTW, you also have never played anyone who has won as much as Katy has either. I know we get a little haughty, but look what our team has done. I would think most people would understand it, not call it disrepsect. It should be a very good ball game. I would direct you to your website and the "this is what we do" video. It was in no way meant to offend as it was meant to be in fun. Much like the igloo comments and such thrown our way. As far as the smack goes, if I was on here talking smack to one of the 7L supporters, then okay, but what we say on our board to each other is not "smack" it is conversation. Conversation between the tiger family. Sort of like you can say what you want in your own home, but you are more selective what you say to people outside your home. Well that board is our home so if you have visited, make yourself known and be welcomed. We welcome people there believe it or not.

If our run through sign ideas are firing up your boys, then good, they fire our's up too. Like it was said, we do that every week, it is for fun, comic relief for most. Something to do to get through the week until football starts. I don't mind if you have seen it because if I did, I wouldn't have put it on a public message board. Most people who know me, know my heart and also know what I said was for fun.

Oh no, nothing like that like. Katy is unique. Katy gets all the townies. Old Tigers and even other KISD school fans to come watch them. I give 7Spartans about a 6 on the community support. Lots of Grand Lakes and 7Meadows folks do come out to watch. I would say they have done a better job in their first few years than most of the other schools have when they opened.
