Humble or Laporte? Who wins this game, and Why? Predictions?

Good qbs, average defenses, I'll give the slight edge to Humble. Turley may be the difference.

toss up, LP throws the ball better and is able to not turn it over and wins 28-21. Speciat Teams advantage LP, running offense advantage Humble. Defenses push, QBs push. It could go either way, I say winner gets to finals for region 3 d 2.

I'm going with La Porte. Only because I'm a homer and haven't seen Humble play.

Sounds like both defenses are mediocre and both offenses are high scoring. It will fall on the heads of the QB's.

Both not anything to talk about. Humble isnt very good at stoping the pass...and Laporte not so good at stoping Run...No ones favor.

My pick is clear, humble has the better team. Jerrod Johnson and Eric Tunley are a special combo. for one there battle tested.

but laporte is not to be underestimated. There good. But i dont think there good enough.

thats a good assessment... i give the slight edge to humble because of johnson... but.. after that.. the teams are pretty equal.... ill be pulling for our fellow 23-5A member.... ill go out on a limb and say LaPorte 24 Humble 21 :eek:

The key here to me is how good are Humble's DB'S? If there are weaknesses in the secondary then Boogie will exploit them and do it often. Dobie had a good team but the secondary was weak and he picked them apart which opened up the running game.

I think Humble is a better team overall and pulls this out but I wouldn't be surprised with a La Porte win either.
