not the same team they beat in Week Zero 37-14-what will the outcome
look like this time?

It will look like much of the same. The 37-14 was not even that close. I think it was like 28-0 at the half. The fact that Monty put up so many points last week will only open the eyes of the AHS players and they will play accordingly!

abilene will win it but this is going to be a very close game, when they played monty the first time, monty did not have their starting qb and running back, but monty can't stop the the eagles to much speed ,

Monty always improves as the year goes along and plays better in the playoffs. This year AHS started with a lot of players without much starting experience on the varsity level. They have improved a lot since that first game also. As good as Monty is at running the option, Abilene's defense has been very good all year and they have continued to improve. The AHS offense is much better now than in the first few weeks of the season. They are much more balanced. We will soon see who has improved the most.

AHS will roll over Monty. The Eagle defense is by far the best Lubbock has seen all year....better than when they played in pre-district. AHS has been shutting down the run all year. Lee went down, Midland and Barron Batch went down, Monty will go accordingly. AHS has too much firepower on offense as well....your not gonna score with this Eagle team running the option unless you have a very good defense that can slow down the Eagle onslaught. Bring on Southlake.

We are really playing well on both sides of the ball. We effectively shut out North Crowley and they had a good offense. I would love to see the Dawgs and Eagles battle it out for regionals. Probably wishful thinking on my part but you never know. :D

Yeah, an AHS/MHS game for Region would be sweet. Some tough teams standing in the way of that though...SLC in our side of the bracket and both SGP and Plano over on your side. I think that both our teams have the capability of pullin' it off....just gotta play some great ball to make it happen. Good luck....go 3-5A.
