who do you think
Any reason this board has turned into SV's personal team board? It seems to me we've had plenty of other threads where this type of question should have been discussed.
Oh, and my opinion? Fuller. Its in the genes.

I think every thread on this board should turn into a SV or SLC thread. They are the two greatest things going since sliced bread. Oh wait, maybe we should also talk about the Plain Old Wildfarts.

Wow. You mean you guys would actually start a thread to discuss which high school kid was better than the other? Don't these kids read these boards? Don't their fathers? Geez...

Nate, didn't you get the memo? You're not allowed to talk about anybody but SLC or SV. They're the two best teams in the state! (Oh, except for Katy, but they don't like to talk.)

How did this turn into an SLC thing? Beyer and Fuller aren't SLC kids. ;)
I could say 'Jacobson is better than both'.. THAT would turn it into a SLC thread!!

I don't think anyone wants to try to compare their wide receivers to SLC's.

ask Lufkin. They can put up a pretty good argument too.

I ought to start another thread on SV linebackers. As for reiciever, I'm going with Beyer.

There are several WR's that are just as good if not better than any on the SLC team. However they do not get as many yards or TD's because their teams dont, or cant, pass the ball every play.
I don't think anyone wants to try to compare their wide receivers to SLC's.

135 lbs, huh?
Okay... Keep thinking it...
That might be the most ridiculous thing I've heard on this board in weeks.

If you don't like the subject, don't read the thread.

im sorry but beyer and fuller are better than any slc reciver.... they might not have as good of stats, but if you will see them play, you wont argue.

I saw them last year and they are not anywhere near as good. I can't believe you are going to argue this.

How much did you actually see them excluding the SLC game. Might you be a tad biased?

alright give me some tangible proof that proves your two receivers are better than Carroll's six to eight that they use

SV doesn't throw the ball almost every single play like SLC if they did you would see just how good Cody and Clay are as well as our other recievers. With the same respect to our running game, We rotate our our backs often, something you can do when you have more than 1 or 2 that are good. On the bad side this keeps their stats low making them not seem as good to Colleges.

I have seen Beyer and Fuller play - many times. I didn't say they weren't as good as SLC's receivers, I said that not many teams would want to compare their wide receiving corps to SLC's wide receiving corps. SLC runs the type of offense that developes their wide receivers very well and they get a lot more experience than many other wide receivers. Like you said earlier, Beyer and Fuller do not get the repetitions as SLC receivers do. Therefore it's hard to compare them.
As for your question, I'm not sure who I think is better. Fuller gets easier looks from defenses because most defense focus more on Beyer. But then again Beyer had all of last year to gain experience while Fuller was out much of the year with a broker collar bone. Fuller does have exceptional hands and makes great plays, plus like Nate said earlier, he's got the genes. I just hate to see him go play for Baylor!

show me some evidence that they are better. I know you are claiming that Carroll's receivers stats will be better, but stats are not all that tells whether your receivers are better or not. Since yours do not have the stats then you have to show some other sort of proof. Since you cannot do that I have to go with the claim that Carroll has better receivers. Just so you know, the rotation thing does not work here. This year Carroll has rotated all offensive skill players regularly so Carroll is in the same boat as Smithson Valley

there is nothing to prove reguardless of stats, I'm saying that your recievers get more playing time and more expierence at the ball thrown to them. Sv hammers the ball with the running game, and when needed they throw the ball. SLC has great recievers because their program is all about passing to them. I'm not arguing that Beyer and Fuller are better or worse than SLC recievers, I'm just saying they have what it takes to hang with them, so theres no need to argue what im saying since i dont have an opinion
