This is a huge game for the TCU program. BYU has swept the Mountain West 2 years straight and TCU has had enough of that. It's time to Draw The Line and let them know where we stand.

BYU is the highest ranked team to play at Amon G. Carter stadium in 14 years. We need support for this game so if you aren't doing anything Thursday Night come out to Amon G. Carter Stadium and support the Frogs.

I think TCU is more than capable of winning this game. We have an advantage in speed that I think will be the factor of the game.

This graph isn't even close to representative of the MWC standings.

stands to reason that it would be an OU fan and a UT fan that would throw rocks at this game.

Guys, it's OK. They just want to a have a football game. Not trying to take away your royalty. :notworthy Just another football game!

BYU is very good. TCU has fought hard to get to a position where this matters. After a rough first half in Norman, they have gotten their defensive feet underneath them and this should be a good one. BYU leads the nation in scoring Defense and TCU has a solid defensive reputation.

TCU 13

I just want to point out that Bronco Mendenhall is one of the coolest names ever. He and Urban Meyer have the coolest names in sports. If I ever have a son, I'm going to name him something like Bronco Urban 1519.

Just want say. I rag on TCU a lot but I actually picked them to win this game in my Yahoo Pick'em. Defense caused two fumbles so far and looks pretty solid.

I also want to say that call was BOGUS and should be overturned.

For the life of me I can't see how BYU has slithered into a Top 10 ranking. Does anyone really think BYU would beat Ohio State, Georgia, Missouri, Kansas, LSU or even Boise State??!! They destroyed Northern Iowa (who?), barely slipped by 0-6 Washington (by 1 pt), embarrassed an overachieving UCLA team, :Censor: slapped two poor teams in Wyoming (when will they just go ahead and end their program??) and Utah State... and then "struggled" to beat New Mexico.

TCU might just be exposing what most insiders truly know.

Great game by TCU. They really took it to BYU.

I would say TCU is a very legit Top #25 team. I just hope they dont get caught in any "Trap games" like last weeks Colorado St game.

PS. Kerley is one heck of an athlete.

I agree about Kerley! I was at work listening to the game and, I figured it would be a close game. WOW! Hopefully, they don't take Wyoming lightly and continue to win out. Still gotta go to Salt Lake City and face the Utes later!

Tonight was a great night!

The game had a different atmosphere, different feel to it from the start. Probably because this was our first home opponent of the year that we weren't supposed to blowout, so it was actually going to be a game, not a game of how much we can win by.

The stadium was at near capacity thankfully, and very loud. The crowd was into it all game for good reason - We never trailed and were dominating from the get-go.

I never thought BYU was a legit Top 10 team, but you still have to admit this was an impressive win. It could have been worse too, we had a dropped wide open TD pass, about a dozen penalties and 2 missed extra points and a dropped pick six as well.

We have the worst team in the Mountain West next week, Wyoming, and then back-to-back dangerous road games at UNLV and Utah. UNLV is a completely different team on a whole other level when they play home games at night. And Utah, they will likely be undefeated when we go to Salt Lake City only 5 days after the UNLV game.

Its going to be interesting how this plays out but I still think we have a shot at a BCS game.

Why do you think I griped about them taking points in the polls away from Tech? You can chalk this up to another feather in the cap of Tech gaining ground each week as others lose.

I've got to be honest. I want Texas to still be #1 when they come to Lubbock to get their just dues!:D

Other than that, I'd hope they lose every game. I just want #1 to lose in Lubbock, just like I'd like to see the day where Tech plays in Lubbock as the #1 team.

I'm going to go through Hell the next time I visit Michigan, and then I'll leave Detroit!:p

Seriously, Hell, Michigan is on my list.

As far as the chances of my dream coming alive, the odds aren't that long with their position and upcoming schedule. We could talk all day about how good Tech is, but they have a legit shot at #1 since they're #5 now and will play 4 Top 16 teams in the next 6 weeks and 3 Top 10 teams. We could talk all day about whether or not they'll win the games, but you know the answer to "What if they win the games?" Nobody loses games on paper. When you're 6-0 in the Big 12, you still have a shot at big things.

Tech is 4-17 in the regular season the past 5 years against top 25 teams (game day rankings) and during that time period has NEVER won more than ONE game against a ranked team per season. They are also 2-7 against top 10 teams. You can hold out hope all you want but the chances of Tech emerging 10-0 after facing 4 teams in the top 11 are between 0% and .001%.

Which is what scares me about Wyoming coming to town next week. It happened after we beat OU in '05 against SMU, and, after we beat Tech a couple of years ago, I believe it was BYU that came to Fort Worth the very next week and humbled us.
