Just a side note, on Channel 2's high school show Friday night, the scrolling scoreboard at the bottom of the screen said y'all lost 20-6 to Channelview. That took me buy some surprise. :D

No, I believe that was the score at the end of the first quarter. We went into the half leading 33-20. We really turned it on in the second half, after our defense made some adjustments. We were a little rusty after 34 days without a game. Once we settled down, we were OK!

I think Baytown Lee is too skeerd of the Bruins to play very well. :D

If the Ganders were unable to defeat long time rival Sterlin then I don't see any way they are going to be able to beat the Bruins or the Mustangs. I'm say now that both us put our games away this week in the first quarter.

I was wondering how WB would come off of their break, but I never doubted them winning. I can't wait to see y'all against North Shore in a few weeks.
And as for the score, they were still displaying it at the end of the broadcast when the game was over. At least Channel 2 tries though, right? :D

Well it looks like Katy and West Brook are on a collision course for round three. We could find out then. Both would have to lose to someone other than the district champ (if they lose at all) in order not to play in the third round. And even then, they could meet in the bottom half of the bracket in round three, or in the fourth round if one is seeded highest of the two from their district in district and the other is not.
Anyways, ignoring the headache from the previous paragraph, if we both take care of business in district we could find out real soon.

I think im more anxious to see Brook vs katy in the playoffs, than Brook and North Shore in the regular season.

I'll repeat what I said in the other forum.
Lee won't be scared of West Brook for one thing. Being scared is never a problem for Lee. Being not good enough to win however could be a problem.
Lee has an excellent defense.
No one has gained more than 250 yards on them in any of the 4 games this year. Of course, they haven't been playing teams that have Christine Michael either.
Lee's defense will at least provide some sort of resistance, especially early in the game.
West Brook could send out their JV team and stop Lee's offense.
If Lee scores more than 7 points I would be surprised.
West Brook will probably pour it on in the second half a little bit.
I could see it being 35-7 final, with maybe a 13-0 halftime score.
Lee needs #7 to be able to go at qb the whole game, and they need to play mistake free ball. If they can do that, then they have a puncher's chance, because their defense is quick and should be able to cause WB a few problems if they haven't given up on the season already. It's got to be demoralizing for them to have absolutely no offense to help them out on the defensive side.
West Brook should win.
