SLC must go on the road again this week, into a hostile environment. After losing to Coppell in OT, the Dragons are winless in the district. Predict the game, listing a score and anything else you think will go on during this one.

SLC played a good game last friday, they'll be coming off a hard loss and they'll definitely want to make sure it doesnt happen again any time soon.

that said, marcus's run game is their strong suit, but to beat SLC, they need to have an air attack. SLC will win but i've never really thought that predicting scores was a good idea. it might just pump up an underrated team enough to play at its full potential and pull off a win when no one expects them to...:D.

FM Marcus may be one-dimensional but they are very good at the run. 3 yards and a cloud of dust keeps the SLC offense off the field.

This was the type of game that Hebron had with FM Marcus last year.

If the FM Marcus DB's and DLine can cause enough havoc for Padron, FM Marcus could win this game.

I don't believe a one dimensional team like Marcus will be able to beat Carroll. Coppell did it in a scorefest and Marcus will have a hard time scoring that many points on the ground against a good Carroll front 7. But that's why they play the games.

Ok Fm Marcus here is my scouting report....something I noticed from the stands at the Coppell/SLC game. The SLC QB hardly ever looks off his receiver...from the moment he is hiked the ball he stares at the spot he is going to throw too. It became more and more obvious as the game went on. He also seems to favor throwing to the left side of the field. Have your DB's ready...because he is very good and accurate!

Before last week I would have picked the Dragons, and even given the results of last week I still have to pick 'em. Marcus may be one-dimensional, and is very good at it, but I think Carroll finds a way to combat the rushing attack enough to win. Even though the game is at Goldsmith, I don't think it will be that big of a factor as the Dragon fans travel well and I assume will fill up the visitors side.

They are not one dimensional by any means. They have a very good QB who is quietly dismantling teams. Big pounding offense and a decent defense.

Should be a good game!

The Carroll defense should be fine as long as they don't forget about Joel Free out wide. Free is a very good receiver. When I saw Marcus a few weeks ago, their offensive line wasn't as powerful as I thought they'd be given their big size. The Marcus passing game is erratic at best. The best play they have is to throw it up to Free and let him go get it.

Before the Coppell game, I would have predicted (guaranteed) a Dragons win by big score. I think the Dragons will score a lot of points; but over the last 3 games thr Dragons have shown a propensity to concede points in an ever increasing amount. I cannot imagine another 50 points by each team in a scorefest like last week, but going on the road into yet another hostile environment; this will be a close game : 42-35

From everything I've seen they are a good run team but don't do much with the pass. At least so far they are one dimensional. That could change but it usually doesn't.

Bet he'd trade this 5A Marcus team for his 2003 LaMarque Cougars state champion team, which ran the 4 wide spread. Erwin is matching system to talent. Marcus doens't have the speed like he had in LaMarque Cougar land.

Marcus' secondary isn't very good, and Southlake will be able to stop their running game a few times over the course of the game. Southlake wins comfortably.

Free had some outstanding catches against an improved Katy D in week 3. He's the type of receiver that doesn't need a QB to show up every week...he will still come up with a few scores. Having that been said, I still think the dragons will take this one easily. It will be over in the first half.

One can hope so...

Trinity players became very humble after their loss to Odessa. It made Trinity very dangerous the second time around in the playoffs. Southlake will not let it get the best of them. Successful programs don't.

The weeks ahead will show if CHHS fit in the description of a successful program.

I dont see a team that will be licking its wounds by no means... But then we did have a hiccup against Rockwall last year following the MNW game, though it came out in our favor...

I find the silly comments about KP, just well, silly... So he stares at 1 reciever from the moment the ball is snapped yet no one can stop it.. Hmmm, the kid is good... A few bad decisions the last 2 weeks that led to int's in the corner of the endzone... Thats it!! No real arguements about KP.. And just to add something else.. The kid is a typical Dragon QB... "I dont care if it hurts... I want the ball" ... I freakin love the kids heart..

The defense will play good this week.. I dont expect alot of yards or points from FMM...

I hope we learned our lesson on being "conservative" with an offense that was never designed to have that word uttered in the same sentence with the word "spread". It just wasnt and I hope the last 2 weeks show that coach that "gas pedal" is the name of the game.. Throw Ryan Walker the ball... Young man is on..

I'm hoping the coaches showed the young men how to stop the double reverse kick returns.. Or FMM wasnt watching (which I highly doubt). Cause that can simply KILL momentum... As wittnesed Friday night..

All in all I think Carroll will come out strong and finish strong...

Coppell had no problem running on the Dragons Friday night which is scary. I was of the opinion that no one could do that and while the secondary is somewhat of a question mark as is with most schools the front 6-7 of Carroll was always going to be able to put enough pressure on the quarterback to keep the opposition from scoring. This will be a true test of the coaching staff to make adjustments from last week, something that they were unable to do at half time Friday night.
We will now see what kind of coaching staff we now have.
I still predict a Carroll victory over Marcus by 14.
We can not have the same type of let down we did last year after losing to MNW because Marcus is a much better team than Rockwall was last year. Last year was a little different in that we did not have as much time in between as the MNW game was a Saturday afternoon/night game followed by a Thursday game.
The good news/bad news is that this team has endured 3 losses where last years team had not lost a game since 8th grade and that was to another Carroll team. They at least have some experience dealing with coming back the following week from a loss.

I think the Coppell running back had 120 or so. The run game didn't hurt Carroll IMO. Untimely penalties, and the creative play calling by the Cowboy's was the diff. Every time they were stopped, or down, the Dragons would do something to bail them out.

The long runs up the middle concerned me and poor tackling.

On another note, switching back to offense. I would like to see the Dragons take wider splits on the o-line. This will open up natural running lanes as well as push the pass rushing ends out further. I understand it also opens up running lanes for blitzing, but there are plays that could be called with wide splits and some smaller splits, also will keep the defense guessing a little more. It is working for Missouri and some of the college spread offenses.
I did not pay attention to Tech on Saturday.

1st point there... I agree... The tackling has turned into either throw your body at the guy or attempt to strip the ball all while the player is running another 10 yds... I get the strip techniques... But at this point I'm all for a sure tackle over a possible strip for a fumble.. And quit trowing your body at the player and just get 2 arms around him and bring him down...

I totally agree with the second point... At this point try some different things... wider splits may help... it also may not... But you never know unless you try...

They were creative, They exploited weaknesses, They were the aggressor.. Timely penalties on our part helped along with poor play calling at times on our part... Momentum is a big thing... And when we would get it and had opportunities to go for a kill we didnt... The safety was horrible.. 1st and 10, 99 yds in front of you with a "spread" offense that had Ryan Walker open all night and you elect to hand the ball off.. Huge swing right there..

Passing wise your right... I was meaning running wise.. Again I dont believe we helped our defense at times by some of the plays called... I believe our D came out strong and needed the offense to keep there foot on the gas and not let up... Some questionable calling allowed them back in it... The best defense is a great offense... Absolutely right... I know Tommy wanted to play.. And god bless him for even suiting up... I love the kid.. But John John was playing well and the coaching staff has to know in certain instances its not real wise to let a kids heart and desire when he possibly isnt thinking straight influence what are supposed to be intelligent thinking coaches... But that safety was not Tommy's fault AT ALL... In that situation I believe John John would have been stopped as well.. We needed to throw there and didnt...

It goes well beyond conservative play calling but I will keep my mouth shut as promised other than to say that is easy to coach when you winning by a bunch but in close games we have not been able to pull it off. All 3 of our losses the past two years were close games.

Prediction on the way, but first, can someone recollect for me the sequence of plays after we went up 14-0? I recall it was at that point they made their first 1st down, but I can't remember if they subsequently scored on that possession.

If they did, OK

If they didn't and we took over again with the ball, up 14-0, what were the play calls that appeared conservative to many? Just curious...

Avers up the middle for no gain a couple of times. Our dink and dunks were very short and were covered well. Did not attempt any sort of vertical game.
I think the big complaint is that we kept putting ourselves in lots of 3rd and long situations. To be a little more specific our calls on first and second down were poor. Kept running similar plays that did not work. Tommy was sick but at his size running between the guards is not our most effective use of him IMO. I do not think I have ever seen Carroll run a counter or any type of misdirection play even in the TD days. An occasional end around with Cantu but that was about it.

I am trying to let it go and move on to next week, but I read this and it drags me back into this game that I hope we put behind us.

Anyway here goes -

Conservative is because it looked like we were really working to get the points that did. This is a team that gave up 600 yards to a real good 4A school. I was expecting a track meet by SLC. Score and score whenever we wanted. Instead it was 22-21 at the half (one of those TD's was a 12 yd drive after a funmble). In the second half, we managed 2 offensive TD's. Yes, we had unsuccessful long FG attempts in both.

Bottom line is we were pushing Coppell around early and had a series of momentum changers all go against us (special teams, penalty's, etc..). From that point on Coppell was dictating the flow of the game. And yes we started looking tired late in the 2nd half.

In defense of coaching, Coppell did have 2 weeks to prepare and I'm sure they threw stuff at us that we haven't seen before from them and put new wrinckles in all over the place - formations, trick plays, etc... And SLC coaches must have figured that we would be able to take care of them straight up ( I agree with this)- save the new wrinkles for the playoff's.

Enough of this, I stop.... promise.

In my opinion, Carroll will do all of their damage in the air. Marcus has a talented front seven, so I doubt much will be gained on the ground. Marcus passes the eye ball test with flying colors, but I'll be interested to see how their running game does this weekend. It wasn't as powerful as I expected it to be when I saw them.

They are huge on the OL, but didn't manage to get much of a push against Katy's 3-4. Marcus had a huge size advantage. Normally, downhill running teams have an advantage against that kind of front. I think Hopkins ended the game with around 45 yards.

If Carroll can bottle up the Marauder ground game, they should win going away.

Agreed. They did break some long runs that padded the stats, and the RB for Coppell was good, but it wasn't the rush that killed us, IMO.

FM Marcus comes into the game with the Dragons 1-0 in district and 3-3 overall. They have beaten Grapevine(0-6), Keller FR (1-5) and Lewisville(2-4); their losses have come against Plano West (3-4), Katy(4-2) and Tyler Lee(3-3).

Statistically the teams matchup this way:

FM Marcus (3-3, 1-0)
Offense avg: 30.3 ppg and 368.2 ypg
Defense avg: 18.3 ppg and 260.3 ypg
Turnovers & Take aways: +5 (to=7, ta=12)

SLC (4-1, 0-1)
Offense avg: 41.8 ppg and 452.8 ypg
Defense avg: 21.8 ppg and 320.6 ypg
Turnovers & Take aways: +1 (to=8, ta=9)

Offensively, Marcus runs the ball about 70% of the time. their primary threat is their big RB Stephen Hopkins (876yds & 12TDs) who they use to wear down opposing defenses. When Marcus does pass the ball, their main targets are WR Joel Free(16-225yds) and Rhett Butler (10-184yds). The Dragons DL and LBs will need to rise to the challenge and show that they can slow down this type RB and rushing attack and the DB's will need to bounce back and limit Marcus ability to be successful with play action passing..

Defensively, Marcus has shown the ability to slow down the rushing offenses of most of the teams they have played, Tyler Lee had the most success gaining 185yds. against them. Where they have shown some vulnerbility has been against the pass, as KFR threw for 344 yds and PW almost 200. through the air. This bodes well for the Dragons as our primary strength this year is the ability to throw the ball to a variety of receivers.

This game should be an intersting test of contrasting styles as each team will be tested by the other team's strength. If the Dragons allow Marcus to control the pace of the game, they could be in for a long night. Despite the problems last week, I don't think Marcus has enough of a diversified offense to take advantage as Coppell did. I look for the Dragon defense to get enough stops to win this one in a relatively low scoring game.........

Ok, I'm an uninformed outsider here....but, I'm puzzled as to how you call an offense conservative when they score 50+.

Good luck this week. I think you'll clobber FM.

Thanks and with apologies for answering your question as to Coppell in this thread, let me offer the following. Carroll scored 14 points in the first three minutes of each half, accounting for over half the total it scored within a six minute timeframe. OT accounted for 10 more, so we have 38 of the total accounted for in a very brief period of the game. For the other forty two minutes of the regulation game, Carroll scored only two TDs. I don't know that I would call it conservative, but perhaps inconsistent would be a more apt term.

Only if the coaching staff have the team prepared and Wasson has the gumption to be aggressive on offense. For Pete’s sake let’s get back to 'killing the will of the opponents'. Also let's hope if does not come down a last second field goal to win the game; because Wasson is 0 for 2.

Along with the market and the Dragons, my predictions took a drubbing last week ( only close one was the expectation of 4 turnovers by our defense), so I fully expect all of these to bounce back. What I'm sure we'll see at Goldsmith Friday nite...

* Dragon roadies once again fill the visitor stands, all hoping for a quick 3 hour game...

* Prior to the game, # 32 drills that 48 yard field goal we were looking for...

* Early in the game, our own Dragonbuck, momentarily in belief that he's watching his beloved Ohio State Buckeyes, inexplicably begins cheering for the very Buckeye like Marcus Marauders...

* With 8:42 left in the first quarter, the Dragons begin running their 2 minute offense...until there's 2 minutes left in the game.

* Special teams get special again.

* Southlake goes .500 on their road trip, bouncing back to win game # 2, by the score of 38-14. Some of the coaches begin smiling for the first time in 7 days...

* Dickworsham, Tx loses one its residents...

I'm coming home with a win on Friday. Please celebrate Columbus Day safely!

I agree does not need to be fixed but certainly adding a new wrinkle may help. Our running game is not great and just looking for a possible solution for that.

......On another note, switching back to offense. It is working for Missouri and some of the college spread offenses.....

DPants.....You are definately onto something that some of us worried about back in the spring. This OL pass blocks pretty well, but seems to have some difficulties consistently opening running lanes. I'm not smart enough to know if the problem is the scheme, the technique being taught or the talent level to figure out the solution, but statisically, you can easily see the problem:

Year........Run/Pass Ratio Avg yds/Rush Att...Pass Att
2004........51.3%...48.7%.................6.4..... .......9.8
2005........49.3%...50.7%.................6.2..... .......10.1
2006........55.0%...45.0%.................6.5..... .......9.5
2007........51.5%...48.5%.................6.5..... .......9.8
2008........44.0%...56.0%.................4.8..... .......8.1 through 5 games

We've won in the past by being able to beat teams either on the ground or through the air. This year we've been more unbalanced and gaining less yards in each attempt, which hurt us certainly in Friday's game.

I like your idea of the OL splits as being part of the answer, and I hope the coaches look at that. Whatever the solution, the Dragons need to significantly improve our rushing attack to make the PO's and to make make any kind of a run.

I think part of the answer could be simpler. In the spread, the pass sets up the run. When we start hitting the deep ball or at least 15-20 yd+ passes on a consistent basis, we will see the running game open up. As games wear on and we don't connect down field the defenses start playing the run/short passes and this is what you get. You have a lot of defenders close to the line of scrimage.

We were throwing downfield pretty well in Katy CR game and we had some nice runs. What were the averages for that one? I bet they were better than YTD.

I think this game will be a huge showing for the Dragons. It will show their character that is for sure, how do you respond to a 57-53 loss to a rival in district play where you now sit 0-1. I would like to think the Dragons pop off early and keep their foot on the accelerator, but you know...anyone who plays Carroll will be ready to give us their best shot.

I think Carroll walks out with the much needed W to avoid going 0-2.

I just hope our D didnt get too exposed last Friday against the ground game.

I'll take Carroll in 38-17 game.

KP throws four TD passes and Blair and Walker will have at least one each. And KP will probably add another on the ground, with Cade kicking a field goal.

Good Luck Dragons...Your many fans are still behind you and still believe in you!

I thought I would weigh into this SLC lovefest.. A few comments on Marcus:
- The running game is much improved with two threats Newsome and Hopkins
- The passing game is improving. While not 5 wide like Marcus teams of the past, I would not call the offense one dimensional.
- The offensive line has been experimenting with lineups over the past couple of weeks which should settle down. They are big and when coordinated look very good.
- The defensive backfield has changed a few personnel and will be improved and everyone has had trouble running up the middle.

With that said if Marcus doesn't hold the ball on long drives or turns the ball over like it has the past couple of games it could be a long night.
Coach Irwin is one of the best in the state and should have them ready!.

Not Sure which game you were watching but check the stats. I saw Lewisville score on one long play and then score when Marcus gave them the ball inside the five on a muffed punt. Other than that Lewisville couldn't move the ball and Marcus had two rushers over 100 yards with Hopkins close to 200.
Also your statement about what the coaches teach linemen is a little ridiculous..

I agree, in the past when we would catch teams with 5 in the box, the OL would consistently open lanes so that we would usually gain at least 5 yds on running plays. Luna and Newton would then often turn those 5-6yd gains into longer runs by making defenders miss tackles or bounce off.

This year, TA & JN have often been lucky to get just 1-2 yds in those situations and have broken very few long runs. This falloff in consistent rushing production has often left us with more and longer 3rd down conversions. It amazing that we have been able to convert as many of those 3rd & 8's as we have.

I hope the coaches and kids can fix whatever the problem is and our running attack gets back to being as feared as our passing attack.

I must agree with Marcus Fan in the fact that this game will be decided by Marcus' Offense. More importantly, it will be decided in the first minutes of each Half. SLC has shown a propensity for coming out fast -Lighting Fast! - at the beginning of each half. If Marcus' offense does not come out and control the ball and thus allows SLC to "get out and run", Marcus will not be able to "pull a Coppell".

I certainly don't want to reduce this game to just "ball control" vs. "Spread", but most of the other intangibles seem even to me.

SLCBTU, I'm not ranting at you I'm just ranting.
I DON'T like where we are sitting in the least. I'm not going to sugar coat what I have seen in the last 1.5 years. This year especially!
The 2008 SLC team should be dominating and not struggling to win games or losing a game like last week(Sincere Congrats to Coppell!). This team lacks concentration, fire and the killer instinct. The athletes to win and win in a strong fashion are on the field. Yes, this is one of the toughest districts in the state, but I am not going to lower my expectations. SLC struggles running the ball at the worst of times. Special teams gaffs, at the worst of times. Our secondary looks pretty good, then gets smoked. No pass rush at times and then awesome at times. Receivers dropping pass after pass. Wasson had better 'git the fire lit', put the pedal to the metal and start getting this train moving!!!!!!
Fire away!!

Here, here! None of us should lower our expectations!

The weather forecast is now predicting that it will rain for the next 2 days ending sometime Thurday morning. What type of turf are we playing on this week? Will it be a little slippery giving the power running game a slight advantage? Or will the FMM DB's slip and fall trying to cover SLC WR's? The countdown continues...

Ok people, help me out here. Where am I sitting when I go watch this battle? My moniker "Stuck in the middle" refers to the fact that I live equal distance between FM Marcus and Lewisville HS. So I should sit on the home side right? But my niece goes to SLC and she will be there. So I sit on the visitor side right?

Ok, so neither of those arguments works for you? I have enjoyed following the Dragons for the last 6 years in the playoffs and they have rewarded me with countless outstanding games. Dragons it is. BUT, Marcus runs a Power offense that I have longed for since the advent of the Spread. Plus, Erwin has a history of demolishing my Alma Mater when he was at LaMarque, so I respect him for that. Let's go Raiders!

The last time Southlake lost an opening District Game was in 2001. That loss was to none other than Coppell; also in OT. This same season the Dragons also lost the second district game against Waxahatchie to go 0-2 in district and 3-3 for the season. However the Dragons still got to the 4A State Semi Finals, only to lose to Ennis.

Will lightening strike twice and the Dragons go 0-2 in District for the first time since 2001 - I think not as I forecast a Dragon win.

HebronHawk
10-14-2008, 08:27 PM

Maybe SLC is one dimensional too?

SLC wins this one and, if marcus' pass game doesn't get going (i don't see it happening) and ya'lls front 7 can really shut down their run game (a good probability); ya'll will win by a lot.

Just for banter, what would you think about a move putting Seth at a corner (excellent speed, big frame) and testing a couple of others at the vacated safety spot? Williams, Renger, Landers, Osborne, to name a few...

It sounds as if we are ready to throw in the towel after one loss.

Yes the secondary is not the best, it never has been. There is one player that has great athletic ability but is never in the right position. That is a coaching issue. I am sure it is being addressed so if he cannot execute than he needs to be replaced. No wholesale changes need to be made in terms of personnel.

The points we gave up last week is an anomaly. The defense had some break downs, I do not deny that nor am I going to make the statements that I did previously that we have one of the best in the state. That is going to take a few weeks to be convinced of that again.
Look at some of the circumstances. A good offense getting the ball inside the 5 on a fumble on the kickoff. Short field because of safety and because of coverage return issues. They did not give up that many yards. There were some glaring problems with bad tackling etc. that need to be addressed but huge changes is being too reactionary IMO.

I'm not sure who you reference as being out of place. # 24 is probably out, for health concerns, and I was thinking #2 might be a fine shut down corner as well. And while I'm sharing my thoughts, Renger has alot of what you look for in a safety. Not wholesale changes but adjustments to get the best or healthiest athletes on the field.

All of that being said, the Defense's job is not to let opponents score more than we do, Has everyone forgot about the 98 yard drive Coppell had to tie up the ball game? I am a huge defensive fan, but in all honesty this D has a lot, i mean a lot, to work on.

If Coppell started on the 60 after the kickoff returns and the punt after the safety, then they would have to get at least 3 first downs to put points up, and that is if they have a great kicker. It's their job to make stops no matter where the ball is, that is all im trying to say.

Defending the pass is the bigger question at Marcus then the passing game.

It has been proven you can win titles without a passing game, you just need the horses inthe backfield to get it done. Marcus has been without Newsome and Hopkins could not carry the load all on his own. It allowed Katy to totally shut down the Marauder attack. If Newsome is healthy and playing this week then that will spell some of the pressure off of Hopkins. If Marcus can complet 7-8 passes this week to keep drives going then sure it will have a chance, I just have not seen that consistency out of the Marcus QB's so far.

Ima be at some friends house or the Casino Saturday nite so I should be able to connect for a little bit and check some scores out from here in Texas.

I've seen the FMM practices for 3 days this week. Remember Marcus has played teams that have been in the playoffs for the past couple of years in the non district games. Each game that Marcus lost was lost due to a handful of plays and bone head errors or injured players not being on the field. The coaches have made sure the players have paid the price for those bone head plays. I think the game will be closer than anyone expects. Like the Dragon fan says though..."that's why we play the games"...It will be a fun game to see in any event. To win Marcus will have to keep the SLC offense off the field...and if they do that ...there's no one better at eating the clock than Erwin. The Marcus defense is ready in any event. One can expect a few pics and perhaps some defense points on the board. The Marcus OL is ready to push some people around. One thing is certain...with Erwin.and Big Red..you can expect the unexpected. If SLC wins they will know they had to fight for it...Should be a close game.

I agree I just do not think that wholesale personnel changes are the answer.

Unless it happens again.

I agree with that! I am just hoping our studs show up this week and start to play on a consistent basis like I along with the rest of the community believes they can!

I don't know about the football game, but Marcus will trounce SLC at halftime. I've seen both bands at local contests this fall and Marcus' show is a blast. It is actually fun to watch, even for those who don't know much about band. SLC's show is pretty boring.

Seriously though I got to watch some Marcus practices this week as well and looks like they are working hard.
That said they must do 2 things to stay close in the game
#1 stay focused and not get penalties (has been getting worse each game)
# 2 hang on to the ball, no dropped passes or fumbles
#3 hope/pray that SLC does not take out their loss on us too badly;)

Oh and to stuckinthemiddle, I think you might have to sit with the "Green" folks unless you get a ticket really quick because the game is close to a sell out! Should be very exciting. We are looking forward to seeing Carroll fans fill the visitor side.

Oh and our band is awesome for sure!:) Might be the best part of the game for Marcus fans

this made me think that best influence td had on individual position players was qb. that area will be where his absence may be most sorely missed. no one before or since was able to turn out the qbs, with the possible exception of art briles. kp got some time with him, but nothing like the ones before him.

Hey Green day,
#2 is a little busy on offense, When he's not in, he's got headphones on and is getting some valuable advice. I didn;t realize he was a shutdown CB too besides a prolific passer/leader:D

Passing is so over rated Farmer Fan! How many times should they throw a game? I say run it 45 and throw 15 to 20 has been working pretty well for the past 2 years.
Defending the pass is the bigger question at Marcus then the passing game.

Exactly what I was thinking. I also had noticed this issue along with others. The fix if anyone on the team notices, is a pump fake to get the DB to bite and then a throw to the now streaking WR. Its a TD or BIG yardage every time. I first noticed it against Plano West, saw it in the CR game where their DB almost picked it twice.

Not to my knowledge. We used to do it when I was a kid which according to some I still am. But that was in the mid 90's. You can also park in the church next to Goldsmith or the shopping center across from the West side of the HS on Valley Pkwy and Main. Its not a bad walk to the stadium if you do that. If I can get out of the office at a nice time and get my workout in then I might head over to this game. Well said. I was kidding about having you as a fan. We don't have many outside of ...well Southlake. Hell you could hit Colleyville and Grapevine with a stone but they both hate us. So I understand your position. 3rd round wouldn't be a bad thing. Have a safe weekend.:)

Good luck to Marcus this week. The last four games could get rough.
Must wins against Flower Mound and Hebron I would expect.

Well said. I was kidding about having you as a fan. We don't have many outside of ...well Southlake. Hell you could hit Colleyville and Grapevine with a stone but they both hate us. So I understand your position. 3rd round wouldn't be a bad thing. Have a safe weekend.:)

Stop hitting them with stones.
