Longview and Lufkin both thought they would have decisive easy victories last week as well. Lufkin just barely squeaks by and Longview is sitting at home. Don't start clearing off a space for that trophy just yet. Any given day man, any given day.

Believe me when I say we're not ALL that cocky. Of course we expect to win, but never consider our games to be able to be overlooked. Leander will pose the type of well coached threat we havent seen but maybe once or twice this year.

This is going to be a great game and regardless of the outcome a very good football team is going home while the other moves on. Of course thats what the playoffs are all about.

Anyone Got An Idea Of What The Gate Tickets Will Cost And Parking Fees?

I Know Alot Of People Are Comming And For The 5 Of Us Its Gonna Be An Expenseive Football Game.

No idea about the gate cost but I was told by an LISD employee that parking will be $3. I got my tickets in advance for $8 adult $5 student so my best guess would be $10 gate.

Tickets are selling for $8(adults) and $5(students) at our high school. All tickets will be $8 at the game. Parking is $3. :(

You got that right. The problem is the entire parking lot, at least on the visitors side, bottlenecks to one spot and it is near impossible to make a left. At least I won't be sitting in the parking lot at school waitin for the bus.

^^I'm pretty sure for this game they are going to charge $3 for parking. So be prepared for that. I'm not positive thier doing that but just be prepared.

Checked the booster club website and it confirms Leanderdad's figure of 8$ gate and $3 parking.

I know this is just a message board and you guys have absolutely zero baring on the game, but i hope your team is just as cocky as you guys. You guys are talking like your Southlake Carroll and have acutally won anything. I dont even think SLC would talk this much.

Cocky like the 85 Bears...making a superbowl video before the playoffs even started...I could live with that type of ending ;)

I never said it would be a walk in the park. We are the mighty DAWGS and we will show you what we are all about. Let's not get it twisted, I never said the game will be easy but the Dawgs will win this game hands down. GO DAWGS GO!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am surprised we have not forfeited the game yet. :) You are right , Cove does have a ton of speed, but so did Pflugerville. Cove will face the most physical and overall quickest Defense they have seen this year. And by the way "The Palace" is not our house. Best of luck on Saturday, and everybody drive safely.
We are not Pfugerville so don't compare us with those losers. What is your defense ranked in Region 2? It's not in the top five. I understand the Palace is not your house but your only 10 or 15 minutes away. Cove is about 45 to 60 minutes away, but we will still rock the house with our fans. We don't need any luck just skill son

Listen up HB77 thanks for the best wishes, but deep down I know you want us to lose. No one likes Cove in the Killeen area. We know why because we own the teams in the Killeen area. Well thank you. Ya We are a very good team, I think we are underestimated and people think we can't knock off the top teams. We beat Abilene in a scrimmage(11-0), Beat Judson(7-4, will win their region) and beat AMC who looks like they are gonna win D1 R2.I would love to play Carter next week and finally have a chance to prove ourselves and then put a W against Lufkin the following week and it would be an honor to get a crack at SLC.

TROOPER IS A REAL TROOPER. He does not speak for all us DAWG fans but i can see he is very confident. He can be the first in line to eat a big dose of crow on the slim chance that we lose.

It should be a good game and i honestly think Cove has the ticket for Leander this year.

I won't be able to get back on til late today since i have to make a trip up to Stephenville and the Cove and back to Georgetown before getting to go to the game.

You have got to be one of the top 5 biggest homers on this board. Your blind. You have absolutely no objectivity. What has the Mighty Dawgs done to command such respect? Nothing. At this point in the season Cove is no more accomplished than anyone else. You've made it to the second round, congratulations. So has every other team still in the play-offs. I don't seem to recall a streak of consecutive years when Cove was either making a deep run or winning it all. You've got a good team, leave it that. No need to start planning your championship party just yet my airborne brother.

Although you are right about trooper...COVE is rolling and Lufkin is just getting by so perhaps you should be more worried about your team than anything a COVE fan is saying :D
