Dominated a very good Woodlands team in the opening round. A Woodlands team that many picked as the favorite to win Region II. ACM has probably the strongest defense in Region II and a very good offense, just inconsistent. Also has one of the best kickers in the state handling the fieldgoals, punts and kickoffs.

good d and special teams goes along way, and with lewis they can score on big plays including a consistent time consuming offense ther right formula for victory and these kids know how to win, trust me they do

They may be the team to beat in region 2. I could see them going to the semifinals and possibly representing in the Texas Bowl. Kicking and defense do go a long way.

as has already been stated..defense wins championships. This Consol defense has been playing lights out for about the past 5-6 weeks.
they are really good in the special teams with Symanski, who is probably the best kicker in the state.
running game can grind it out and put some big numbers up, and WR #9 Lewis is very talented.
key for this Consol team is to not fall behind...they dont have the offense to play catch up.
they seem to be peaking at the right time...Im not gonna predict they will be playing in December..but they have the intangibles to go along way.

We keep answerring this question each week. Hopefully, we get to give the same answer after this Friday afternoon in Dallas. The local newspaper confirms that the game has moved to Friday.

to bad the Dawgs play friday night, I would have been at the AMC game.....Defense is great...only team to hold Cove to 1 TD. Pflugerville made it close late, but that really came form two fumbles deep in AMC territory in 4th qtr........Rock on Tigers, show the rest of Texas what `13-5A football is all about...... Go Tigers... Go Dawgs
