Unbelievable...

Clark's leaders voted unanimously Tuesday night to rename the southwestern Denton County town DISH as part of a publicity campaign with the Dish Network.

I think we should change Texas to an indepent country so we can do whatever because our state seems to be common people. I am just kidding, I don't think I want that because we would lose to all other states in war.

We have the best chance to survive of all the states to independent countries and a lot of people would move into Texas.

All I know that Texas has very good skills in military or am I saying that back in 1860s? I am sure it is still the same.

I actually pondered that thought for a while.....but if we did fight with the other states, we'd probably be weakened and then Mexico would invade us.....

I think we had some luck in the 1830s (Texas Revolution)....

No, WE don't have the best chance. Some of us have the best chance, but most of east Texas will not be welcome...none of central Texas...and the border will stop short of El Paso...:D You boys just keep your social welfare systems going when west texas jumps ship and we might sell ya'll some oil from time to time...

(Since I know what's coming...YES, we will make building refinerys job one...Remember, we tried to get the nations nuclear waste dump before it was built at Yucca Mtn Nevada:D )

As far as revolutions go against other countries their have been 3 in the history of our nation.

It took 13 colonies, seperated from a very distracted very broke britian, under the leadership of probably the most brilliant minds in the history of the world nearly 10 years to become independent. Oh yeah they had the help of the French.

California was an indenpendent country for maybe a week before they surrendered to the US, many people dont even consider this revolution to have actually occured, they jsut callsify it as another victory for the US in the mexican american war.

TEXAS on the other hand
did everything on its own, with no military help from another nation. We were the number one concern of Mexico at the time of our revolution and they sent their entire army and their best leadership. Our revolution took a little over a year.

So we win the quickest and best revolution contest.

So you want us versus other states? Lets look at the one conflict where the states fought each other, the civil war.

There is only one state in which the confederacy won more battles than the Union, and that would be Texas. Remember the Texas campaign of the civil war wasnt fought with huge confederate armies that sported men from all across the confederacy, Texas pretty much fought its own war against the US, while still supplying troops to the front lines in Tennessee and Virignia.

And lets think about this logically for a minute,

Do you honestly think Kentucky could beat Texas? or any other state for that fact? The only thing in america that could defeat Texas, is the USA together.

Texas, by our selves could probably defeat most of the countries on Earth.
