Will it effect some teams more than others? Will the passing teams be able to play the same? Or will it effect the running teams? With the Alamo Dome not in use this season this is more for region 4 I guess but im sure not everyone can play their games at Texas Stadium or Reliant.

well, i dont think it will effect katy, because our last two games have been extremely windy and dalton has done just fine. it will be cooler though as our game is saturday night outdoors, might be down into the high 40s

Temperature will be kind of cool for the Friday and Saturday night games. Perhaps the coolest of the season. May have some effect but not much.

cold weather i dont think affects anyone as much as say rain does. Plus it's texas, if at all, everyone will be affected haha

funny to think about that these boys started practicing in 100 degress and now they will be playing in the 30's

I don't think it will have much effect because everyone will have had a couple of days to practice in the cold. Earlier this season, however, we had a game (south?) on the same day that a cold snap came in and there were fumbles and dropped passes all over the place.

They had a blizzard (not from Dairy Queen) at a Mt. Pleasant playoff game about 30 years ago in Greenville.
