Oh Longview and South Garland had awfully low points for playoff because both played great defense.

Wouldn't it be effin amazing if South and Garland played each other to represent Division 2?! That is easily my fantasy matchup...dear lord, that would be sooooo sweet...the whole state would finally realize how heated the rivalry is!

Region 1 final last year was a rematch of Denton Ryan-SLC. Anything is possible, and I would love to have a Garland-South Garland rematch, but Carter/Copperas Cove-Leander and Lake Highlands/Lufkin stand in the way. Neither team would be favored in the 3rd round, and the 2nd round should be 2 close games. But still, I would be very pumped up about a South Garland-Garland rematch.

Oh, I'm by no means expecting it to happen...its just an awesome prspect...It would speak volumes about the amount of talent that the City of Garland produces...

South Garland didn't play great defense vs. Longview that's the thing! They just stoped em' when they had to, at the goal line! And it helped that Longview went 2 for 4 for field goals. SG has been bad vs. the pass all year! Just look at the Sachse stats! But SG can shut down the run and if Lake Highlands is forced to air it out SG's DBs will need to make some plays. If the offence is clicking like they were vs. Longview and we can keep the Wildcats from hooking up deep SG wins this one.
