based off the one similar to it..

mine would have to be Colleyville Heritage or Grapevine...i just CANNOT stand their fans, nothing against the team its just the ammount of crap their fans through us..

anybody else have a team theyd hate to see??I'm guessing there just might be a few who feel that SLC has had it's share and it's time for someone else.

most likely, but i mean people hate us winning, people hate people who win it if its not them, but some of those rivalries where you just HATE that teams guts, may allow them to pick that team and not slc

i dont really know i mean if a team does win state usually they deserve it and if slc wins for 4 years in a row they deserve it or if they get beaten they will accept the loss graciously i would hope

Yeah, I'd prefer someone other than SLC win, but I don't have anything against their team or fans - they've always seemed OK (occasionally arrogant, but like the old saying goes - "It ain't braggin' if you can do it").

For me, there are some schools that rub me the wrong way. Midland Lee, with their band playing "Dixie" and marching around our team while they're warming up, is more than a little obnoxious. And North Crowley has some terribly unsportsmanlike fans as well.

Saginaw Boswell will never even as much as see a championship trophy, but their team has the absolute worst mouths out on the field. The constant, non-stop usage of the "N" word (Boswell is lilly white) caused several unsportamnlike penetlies to break out.

Because he is a young, punk kid that has a chip on his shoulder for some reason! He has no reason to hate SC except that I'm sure we did him wrong in some way, at least in his mind! Give him a few years to grow into a man and he might get over whatever his problem is. :)

i would like to see strake make it to play katy (tehehe) and then i would absolutely love to see copperas cove and southlake carroll, i mean you talk about some fireworks, lufkin longview was already taken from me, but the NS and westfield game should make up for that...

i cant really think of a specific team i would hate to see win, because taylor and cinco are never good enough to even make the playoffs...

I'd like to see them win and keep both championships in the metroplex :) And I don't think there's anyone left that thinks ET could beat SLC to be honest.

In regards to the state championships: I'd hate to see Coppell win.

I'd say a game at the beginning of the year would have been a great one between slc and trinity with trinity coming off with the win. However, Trinity has been play rather poorly in their last 3 appearances than they were at the beginning of the season. In just the opposite case slc starts off every year looking like they have their problems, when it is actually just dodge slowly putting the pieces together and they come out playing their best in the play offs. Usually teams hate other teams that beat them, however that's not how i feel. I am from trinity and i went to a wrestling tournament held at sgp a couple of weekends ago only to see several sgp football players running around the school in what looked like a very hard working group. I think they will run over plano and give carroll all they can handle in the regional finals. As for teams i dislike, I've never been a colleyville fan.

South Garland!!!, but I wouldn't mind Garland. It might have something to do with South Garland beating us, I'm not sure though.

I would love to see Nacogdoches(4A) win one. They have been down for years, and improved tremendously this year.

I would hate to see South Garland win the state championship if we went to the playoffs in the same division, because that would probably mean they were better than us. But it would be a great thing for our district.

Abilene High - they have state titles from the past and my high school, Abilene Cooper has been to the state title game twice now in school history and have yet to win it! :p

You wouldn't hear that from this Trinity fan, as much as i like the Trojans i will give Carroll their due respect and be satisfied with knowing Trinity had the team in D/FW that most likely could have beat the Dragons . I would say Carroll is 10-14 points better than Trinity this year and there's no shame in that. Still would have been fun to see it settled on the field...

at least back in the day (3+ years ago) they would always vandalize cars in the parking lot, the stadium, de-face the sign out front that has all SLC's championships on it, etc. I lost count how many times my car was covered in spit after home basketball and football games vs. coppell. NEVER had spit or broken windows on my car when we played any other team though. Didn't they also put battery acid on old Dragon stadium's grass back in the late 90s?

I have no problem with giving respect to Carroll or have anything against Carroll. However I'm not going to give it based on a first round performance just like I wouldnt expect it in return after a first round performance. But if u pay attention to any part of my comments it should be this, its a credit to Carroll and their program that their expected to contend for a title every year.

In 03 Lee lost TWS in the state quaterfinals.

And if you do and ET doesn't we will never hear the end of it. Hey why are you so biased? Seems like everyone has to take your post about how great you are. Very few ET people say we are the best in the state. (some might but not many for sure) I have not read ONE post from a SLC person who doesn't say we are the champions, we are the best, we have it all. I think perhaps you should look in the mirror and not accuse ET fans.
