I mean, I don't want to burst your bubble or anything but El Paso teams..ummm suck. Summit will blow them out.

I know the boys are not looking past E.P Franklin. However, I think Summit is going ot be the best team, by far, that Franklin has seen this year.
If anyone knows anything about Franklin, it would be nice if you could post here. I've looked a their online roster, and they seem to be lacking much size. What kind of offense and defenses do they run, etc?

Well if they run the same Offense as last year I believe that it is a spread offense and they ran alot of quick passes as well. Wide Reciever Screens things like that. But unless they have their star player from last year which I can't remember his name(ran like a 4.2 40 or something) I don't think they will be much offensively. I will do some more digging.

I think Midland is a long way from Mansfield.

If they can throw the ball, they may give us some fits. Summit's secondary is one place the Jag defense can be attacked, as evidenced by Jeff Panfil's epic performance in the season ender.
And yes, Midland is a long darn way from Mansfield. I plan on leaving at 6:00 AM on Saturday morning.

Summit 38-21. Enjoy the stadium it is very nice! BTW, Franklin can play a little tougher than you might expect. No way they win this but I would be surprised to see more than a 17 point victory. They usually play fairly tough on the defensive side of the ball. Coaching staff has been there a while.

Its no more than 5 hours from mansfield to midland. What time is the kickoff? And you should not have a whole lot of trouble there with the Cougars, but they have thrown the ball in the past. Just be glad you are not playing in el paso, you would be playing 16 opponents on the field. They make it close for visiting teams, if you know what I am saying.

16? Hahaha.
It's a 5 hour drive, but kick-off is 2:00 PM. So a 6 AM departure let's us stop for coffee, go out to lunch somewhere, and hit an outlet mall if need be (!) Gotta keep the co-pilot happy!
