More talent then Texas? Are you kidding me?

They are talented, and use the talent they have to the best possible way...but more talented, i don't think so. Do you have a firm grasp of the depth Texas posses?

they sure know how to cry about their rivalries too. Ole perfect Chase Daniel even got spit upon while gracing the corral in Lincoln...

I'm actually anxiously anticipating UT playing Mizzou. For his punkiness alone, it's a damn shame that Killebrew is no longer employed...um enrolled on the 40 acres. I'm hoping the Horns leave the cocky SOB a little more humble than when he got there.

UT has far more raw talent that Mizzou. Athlete for athlete UT wins that battle all day, but Mizzou is playing lights out as a team. I am looking forward to that game.

I think you lose your Red Raider card for rooting for the Horns in any contest excpet maybe when they play the Aggies. Are you kidding me? You're comparing the cockiness of a single Mizzou player to the arrogance that the whole of Travis county reeks of? Even before enrolling at A&M I wanted UT to lose every game they played.

wishing for your enemy to destroy another enemy doesn't in any way jeopardize your own loyalties.

Watch the Mizzou games for the past two years. There are more roughing the passer penalties against defenses playing Daniel than anyone else. he pisses people off. We already know the horns won't get the RTP penalty, either, so in this case, I say KTFO of Chase Daniel...

Mizzou without Daniel will much easier for Tech in the Big XII Game too.

+1

Texas > Mizzou.

As a Tech fan, 4th at best until they play someone good. I know we played kansas state, blah blah. The worst is yet to come.

Teams that should be ranked ahead of Tech fo sho-

1. Nebraska
2. A&M
3. Kansas
4. Texas
5. Oklahoma State
6. Oklahoma
7. Baylor
8. Some team that wins the North, prob Mizzou, Kansas, or Colorado.
9. Tech

My ranking is more accurate, quantifyable, and accurate than any poll that has been posted...at least from a Tech prospective. With each week, Tech can measurably improve its ranking while meeting the requirements of victory on the field. I'll take that over public opinion any day.

Guns up...one week at a time.

other than the complete pwnership of cd over tt, what do you actually know about him that gives you such affection? especially for a kid that has outperformed every experts opinion in the country. is it really his fault if defenders are so stupid as to try throw the game away due to their emotions?

Nope, i don't know him, that's why you can be assured my opinion of him comes strictly from what I see on the field. He is obviously frustrating to play against, but so are a lot of great athletes. He definitely has a swagger about him, justifyably so, but he runs the mouth too.

I find the number of RTP penalties against opposing defenses a little more than ironic. It could be because of the "cut the head off" mentality or it could be that he pisses people off. Either way if it makes the opposition think about something besides executing their defense, then that is also called "getting in their heads." Lots of great ones were spectacular at this. If this is just another part of his repertoir, then great, but take what comes with it.

i also find it remarkable that nobody else knows about the spitting incident with all of the cameras rolling at a televised event and from fans, nobody saw it? If Nebraska did it, then be a man about it and whip their *** on the field. Don't go up their in an interview and be a little b:Censor:ch. with nobody from the Nebraska side to answer for it.

OK,

I'm going to give the pure total balance numbers, but I can't leave it at that alone and will also factor in this last weekend since it was the first in Big 12 play and everybody has been in various stages of experimenting until now.

1. Oklahoma 795
2. Texas 875
3. Missouri 1005
4. Texas Tech 1007
5. Oklahoma State 1087
6. Kansas 1203
7. Kansas State 1513
8. Baylor 1628
9. Iowa State 1662
10. Nebraska 1733
11. Colorado 1955
12. Texas A&M 2272

(1) Oklahoma 49 (8) Baylor 17
(2) Texas 38 (11) Colorado 14
(3) Missouri 52 (10) Nebraska 17
(4) Texas Tech 58 (7) Kansas State 28
(5) Oklahoma State 56 (12) Texas A&M 28
(6) Kansas 35 (9) Iowa State 33

With those in mind, here are my rankings:

12. Texas A&M- They played better than expected against OSU, but they've just done too much wrong and barely beat bad teams.

11. Colorado- They have one of the worst QB's and 2nd worst offense.

10. Nebraska- I know they have more talent, but it just seems like they have a bunch of holes and the other teams are playing better with less talent.

9. Iowa State- I know they played the Jayhawks tough, but my guess is Baylor and K-State could outscore them.

8. Baylor- Not bad for the Bears. They're not at the top, but they're better than before.

7. Kansas State- All in all, this team isn't that terrible. Tech was just a lot better. The 'cats can score points.

6. Kansas- All signs point to these guys being the worst of the Top 25 teams.

5. Oklahoma State- You get 5th when the top 4 teams play better on the road than you do at home against the worst team in the Big 12.

4. Missouri- Yes, I'll say it. I think 3 teams in the South are better than the Tigers. The top 3 teams have better defenses.

3. Texas- This is a very good team. I just think they have more holes than Tech and OU.

2. Texas Tech- They had the best win in the Big 12 last week. Both the offense and defense are really coming around right now. I'd like to have better special teams right now, though.

1. Oklahoma- I have to put the Sooners #1 right now. The run defense was a little bad vs. Baylor, but they're a very good team.

i guess scoreboard might be a decent answer. the 2 worst defeats ever for the corny men in back to back years might be proof enough. maybe not.

The 'huskers squealed like a pig crying that KU was running the score up. The first thing I said was I remember all those games in the 70's and 80's where NU would maul the Jayhawks. They had it coming!:D

KU would win a few here and there and keep a few close, but they usually got pounded. My dad and me were loving the Mizzou beatdown, too because he's well aware of how bad Nebraska used to beat them, too. It wasn't to the KU and K-State level, but they did put a hurting on the Tigers at times.
