Like I posted on another thread, I will be surprised if Judson doesn't score at least 50, with reserves getting a lot of action, and I don't think the Owls will sniff the endzone. Though, South San's starters did once against Judson's reserves. Rackley isn't the type of coach to run up the score or this one would be real ugly.
Go Rockets!!

So you think this poll will be
Judson - 1827483
Highlands- 1
IDK who does it but someone always votes against Judson just for the heck of it!

I know the Owls will not lay down for the Rockets and we are not expecting them to. I know they will come out fighting but I just don't see them beating the Rockets unless the Rockets don't come to play hard. I am hoping it will be a good game.
Best of luck to both teams!!!!

I almost spit out my coffee when I saw this thread. Just don't let up Judson. Play AWARE at all times. Judson's going to win this one in a rout, but don't lose focus. I can personally attest to how that gets you hurt! (physically) In a blowout, you can lose focus for a minute or two and do something silly. Play smart and tough and stay healthy!
So far 6 people are going to look like football predicting gods if Highlands wins

Unfortunately I will be seeing the wrong group of owls Friday Night....i would prefer the ones who wear Orange, Black, and White......but I will have to settle for the group from Highlands....
This game will be over in the 1st quarter. I anticipate 400 yds rushing for the Rockets.

Judson will easily beat Highlands and will win this district without any problems. Judson needs to work on its passing game to get ready for the playoffs. If they don't improve in this area they will lose in the third round to Madison or Roosevelt. Judson has a very hard time coming from behind and running the ball only eats up the clock.
Go Rockets. Let's pass more and win State again.

Judson has no LEADERSHIP on offense! No way that team isn't getting better, which is a sign that no one is taking charge, not the OL, not the RBs and NOT the QBs. Rockets have unfocused TALENT, but that won't get them anywhere. Most talented team in a while was 2004 team that lost in semis, they were what you think of when you hear "Rocket Football." A great defense, OL, good special teams and a BIG time RB and a QB that can hit a few PA passes to an athletic, though rarely used WR.

I won't flame you too much and will just say it's not a wise statement to be that bold.
1. Judson has 6 titles and 11 title games and the head coach has been around for 10 of those game and 3 as the head coach.
2. They did play for a title last year and the seniors have been in the high school football program for 2 title games.
3. Judson is one of the 37 teams I haven't fired yet.
4. Judson, more than anybody else in 5A, has a knack for long playoff runs without the benefit of great regular season records.
5. Judson is 11-5 vs. Region 3 in the Semis, so it's not like that game is a bad omen for them.
6. If Judson plays North Shore in the Semis, it will be in Metro SA and that's an advantage for Judson in spite of cherry picking vs. Trinity not helping in 05 and 07.

I hope the team learned from the SV,P-Ville and Wagner game, just because we are in a weak district does not mean they should go through the motions.
If they score 50,
1.) Will the O-line stay low and drive until they hear the whistle blow on every play?
2.) Will the QBs relax when they are throwing the ball?
3.) Will the RBs hold to the ball?
4.) Will the Secondary fall a sleep on the long ball?
5.) Will Special teams play solid?
Wither we play in a weak or strong district doing the little things will make a big difference come playoff time.

04/05 Connally lost some non-distict games to New Braunfels, Tivy and San Marcos, but they were undefeated in their WEAK district and CRUSHED every team. Playing in the weak district built depth and offensive execution, while allowing the defense to build swagger and aim for shutouts. They already know they have the components, they just get longer to put it all together into a championship caliber team. The Westlake title team didn't have any comp playing the AISD teams, so you strive to play to a certain standard of excellence like coach Osborne said at Nebraska. You grade yourself against perfection. P-ville and Judson both have defenses to win state, just need the offenses to mature in the lines.

Judson should get past round 1 of the playoffs...Round 2 is when the test comes into play. :ninja:
I think you're right on the money. I believe the winners of the 27-5A & 28-5A matchups in the 1st round will then play the winners of the 25-5A & 26-5A matchups in the 2nd round. The valley matchup would most likely be the 3rd round before another matchup with a SA/Area team, most likely a team from 26-5A in the state quarters. I haven't checked the latest enrollment numbers so I don't have a clue on the possible matchups. I think that both the 2nd & 4th rds will be difficult if they advance that far, due to the fact that they would most likely face 26-5A teams. We'll all get a better picture in the upcoming weeks. I can't believe the season is already half over, the PO's are basically just a month away. Time flies when you're having fun!

First of all, I am one of the Judson posters you are referring to, and I do believe Judson will put up more than 50 on the Owls. I'll be disappointed if they don't, even if they play the reserves big minutes. I for one felt this way even after the P-Ville game. See, those on this board that just look at wins & losses or maybe even just scores may not know that Judson was close to winning both the games they lost. They had the lead going into the 4th qtr against SV and were leading the P-Ville game until the last few minutes of the 3rd qtr and really controlled that game except for 3 big plays. So, yes, Judson lost those games, they didn't play 4 whole qtrs. But everyone who is in the know when it comes to Judson, knows that they kick it up a notch come PO time. Now if Judson had been dominated in those losses, then maybe there would be more concern. I think Judson will be fine as long as they keep improving every week. Maybe I missed this, but who is 'Us' that you are referring?

you aren't Pflugerville...you are some generic knock off that wishes you could be the real thing....kind of how Wagner wishes they could be Judson.....but they can't and never will be.
PVille put it to us no doubt. I have respect for their team and their school. I do not understand your animosity though. Are you that consumed with our greatness that you have to come over here just to show us your hate-disguised love?
I can understand why SA area schools hate us. I can understand why CC Carroll hates us. I can understand why Austin Bowie hates us. I can understand why Laredo United and Harlingen hate us. We have ended many of these teams seasons several times throughout our 30 year run of greatness. But, we have never played PVille Connally.........in fact if not for you and your Judson lovefest in this thread, I still would have never heard of your school.

Biggems...I do not think he will understand how much love there is in San Antonio and the surrounding areas for High School Football and not just Judson fans, but SV fans, Madison fans, Roosevelt fans, Reagan fans, and I could go on and on, Clark, Warren, Clemens, Stevens...you get my point...
We Love high school football, and we spend many hours a day thinking about it...whether we have kids playing or not...we love the game, I know we are not the only city that does this, but, I live here and see it, and read the threads put on here every day...San Antonio posters have to be the most that post on this site...
So until he can experience this "Pride", this "Feeling of Love", this "Passion" called football here in San Antonio, he will not understand...(that is just my thoughts, I could be wrong)

But forgot again, I am still at work...had our youth tonight at our church, the event is called "YOUTHQUAKE", some of us in security like to call it EARTHQUAKE, but seriously, I think it is one of the best Wednesday night programs in the city...normally around 600 kids, doing things like, skateboarding, EATING, EATING, and games, sometimes karaoke, and stuff like that...being the 26th largest church in the country takes a little work to pull it off, but week in and week out, we do!!!
Back to football...many tough games this week, NB and Roosey, Madison and SV...should be a great week and a very defining week in 26-5A...good luck to all...may they all play to the best of their abilities and stay healthy...God Bless us all...:notworthy:notworthy:notworthy

You can make your little smartmouthed comments about everyone else and its ok. But if anyone doesnt agree that Judson is the best team in the world then they are stupid. I've been watching Judson football for a long time and I know that things really started rolling in '82 and it has continued thru today. Judson has a great program and the best part of that for me is that you biggems have absolutley nothing to do with it...except to get on a message board and talk your smack. If you had any real ROCKET PRIDE in your blood like some of us do you wouldnt be so obtuse. Just because I didnt agree with you about the Judson/Wagner game doesnt make me a Judson hater. If you did indeed make it through the program you missed a very important part...the humility part. Judson has been able to stay on top, not because of great athletes as they come and go, they stay on top becasue of how they do things and what they believe in. They believe in each other and that hard work will pay off. They dont think they are better than everyone but they do think they can beat anyone that they face. Get over yourself and stop making Judson fans look bad.

Bucky, I think you're the one making Judson fans look bad. Some dork comes over to one of our threads and starts dogging out Judson and its fans and one of the Judson faithful calls him out on it and all you can do chastise him for it. Well let me tell you, as a former student and player, someone who has had the honor & pleasure to play for coaches Arnold, Rutledge, & Rackley and knows all about what Judson Pride is and the schools proud history, I agree 100% with what Biggems said. We as Judson fans should not let individuals who know nothing about Judson crash our threads and get away with it. You might think it harsh, but in instances like that, you have to nip it in the bud. Think about it.

Not taking sides here and ccparent let me tell you from experience that if it is not "Judson= gods gift to Texas football" that you are talking about then it is just best to stay out of Judson dominated threads. But to touch on the SV subject..you make it seem like Judson was in control most of the game when that was not the case...the first half was not won by either team and was fairly equal I would say.The 2nd half is a whole other story. I dont think Judson had more that 60 yards total offense. If you are going of the 2 games y'all lost to good teams then I would be worried seeing the SV one. I wish Judson would open up a little and throw the ball more. They have not had the RB to carry the load for them to state since 04 and if Rackley spreads the field more it would be a lot less stressful in Converse me thinks. Judson has to do something this year in the playoff's that they have not had to do in a long time in D1 and that is play good teams before state. Westfield is the only team that I think Judson has played over the years worth mentioning in the same sentence as Judson but now having to play maybe 2 26-5a teams is going to be tough. The 3 teams that Judson might have to play is Madison, Roosevelt or SV(if NB makes the playoffs) then take on North shore, clear lake or pearland in the semis and then get a shot at Trinity,Allen,Plano,Westfield, Permian,RR Stony Point or The Woodlands in the title game. This will be the first year in a while that D1 is far more stacked than D2.It's going to be tough

IMO you are quasi correct about the SV game. The Judson O struggled the whole 2nd half, but the D was right in there giving it all they had, and I still say any time a team enters the 4th qtr with a lead, they give themselves a good chance to win the ball game. I will agree whole heartily that Judson's offense needs to improve quite a bit if they want to compete for another championship.

blah blah blah blah blah
SLC is awesome....downright sick with how dominant they have been in each class they have played. Odessa Permian has always been a top tier team. When I was growing up it was Houston Yates that everyone feared, but now it is Katy. Dallas Carter used to be a team that no one wanted to play, but now, for the last handful of years or so it is Euless Trinity. Austin Westlake has been very good for a while. During the Cedric Benson years, Midland Lee was unstoppable. Here in San Antonio, Madison, Smithson Valley, and Reagan are very, very tough teams. Unfortunately for them, they are all in the same district and end up knocking one another out. O'Connor is relatively new, but they have been good so far. I am anxious to see if they have staying power. Down in CC....Calallen and Carroll have consistently made it to the playoffs. Unfortunately for Carroll, they end up playing Judson and thus going home early. Calallen just couldn't get past LaMarque all those years in the 4A class. Speaking of 4A Alamo Heights has been good for quite a while, as has Boerne, and that school that beat Judson last year in the second week of the season. So Bucky Obama, there are a bunch of teams out there who have my respect. There are a bunch of schools who have gone out and consistently gotten it done on the football field.
Why was Judson so awesome come playoff time, especially in the last decade or so.......cause they had to play those tough district teams. When you have to play SV, Reagan, Madison, and so in....it toughens you up, hardens your resolve. I just hope this new pansy district doesn't make us soft for our playoff run.

Would it hurt the Rocket program to add in more option, put more athletic kids at QB, so that teams can't just key the RB, but will have to worry more about the QB and FB. Going to the spread, but a run based one, where you split the RB out wide and use the FB as the back in the gun. They can also run some two back gun with the TE flexed or kept tight. Just the threat of a pass, opens up the running game, you don't have to pass. They should also steal the SV and P-ville WR reverses, that are very effective for both those teams. Last, what about running some screens to both RBs and a few jail breaks to the WRs? Keep it simple, but make the defense have to work some! Base out of the I, just mix it up wit the same 21 personnel.

Time for talk is over, this game is tomorrow...should Judson win this big...for sure YES!!! But that is why we play these games each week...Judson should use this game, heck this season to expand their offensive strikes...by that I mean we need to open up the offensive playbook...try end arounds, halfback passes, TE dumps, RB screens, and even some deep strikes to our Wideouts...are they the best in the city, no, but all of the receivers we have are very quick and have decent hands, we just have to give them more touches, instead of just 1, maybe 2 a game...Come on Judson, lets "Air it Out" a little...adding a semi-passing game would really give us a better chance at get to that title game again, which is the goal these kids set at the beginning of the season...:cool:

Throughout the years, the Rockets have passed very little, but still remained successful. In some years, Judson has been fortunate to have some outstanding receivers and adequate passing qb's which allowed Judson to pass more. I've noticed in a couple of games in person and listening on radio the above is not the case this year. Too many dropped passes and ill thrown passes. Hopefully, the passing game will improve over the next few games which would open up the running game even more. Harris may be one of the most overlooked RB's in the SA area since most opponents are primarily defending the run. Rockets should handle the Owls without much problem, if the attitude is correct and the "killer mentality" rises up.

No that would be Madsion. I agree with you about the SV game Judson was just flat out played and our coached in the second half. All I know at this time is in week 6 no one is winning a state championship and all you can hope for is that your team keeps improving. I know that after 5 weeks that Judsons defense can hang with most everyone, it is just the offense. If the offesne can start to pass more than I think they could be dangerous, but again that is a big if. I know this thread is alittle uncalled for since we are talking about Highlands. I feel that games like this are a trap game you win by 50 are your not that good, anythng less is unaceptable. I also feel that even if they work on the passing game doing it against Highlands, King and Victoria will be different than Clark, Roosy, or Reagan. Learn about other schools since you know nothing about us.I'm not saying Judson is going to win a title because there are some tough teams out there in D1, but if Vegas had odds on who was going to win the title, I can promise you Judson would have one of the lowest numbers. That's just the way it goes when you've played into December so many times over the years. One thing I've learned over the years is that you don't tug on Superman's cape. You start talking trash about a proud team and you get a group of guys that come out fighting like tigers. Don't think for a minute that these guys don't care about not letting down the past Judson teams. I saw a Rocket team in 2003 get blown out of the water by Madison and they came back in the cold the next week to beat an undefeated Roosevelt team just because they didn't want to end the streak of consecutive winning seasons. That Madison game almost guaranteed they'd miss the playoffs, but they played with pride the next week.
The odds say Judson will be favored to win in Week 11. They'll probably play Madison or Roosevelt in Week 12 and will have a good chance to win. From there, Week 13 will be easy and I'll never pick against them in Week 14. Don't be shocked if they win Region 4 again.

You are right...............I'm reading way to much into this. I just think his statement of NO WAY rubbed me the wrong way. No one knows definitely who will go to state NO ONE.
I wouldn't even try to say that. That's why I leave 20 something teams not fired each year and that's for 8 Semifinal spots. I work on a tight margin of error just by saying these 3-4 teams will be the only teams that have a shot to make the Semis. I agree NO WAY is too bold, especially knowing that North Shore will have to come to SA to play Judson if they both make the Semis.

That's great, but you still will not win this year. For me to give any credence to your comments, I need to see some credentials.
1. Pflugerville Connally has never been good enough at the 5A level for you to know who can and can't win in the playoffs.
2. You better have some good experience watching successful teams or playing on a successful team to make your statements.
3. I still say, nobody can be the judge of great teams until they spend plenty of time around great teams.

I agree with this 100%...he has been our shining star on offense this year...(not just cause I was his first coach)...but that he has been a steady player in every game this year, sure there have been others that have had good games, but seems he is the one to get it done when we need it...:D:D

i have always been amazed how we can be so successful at every position but QB. i have always been boggled as to why, with all the athletes Judson has had year and and year out, that they couldn't find a quality passing QB in the lot of them. Sure every now and again we get a decent passing QB. I found Aaron Carter and Guy Anderson to be good passing QBs. I also felt like the Quinney brothers were adequate. Other than them, our passing QBs have been atrocious.
As far as using a bit more of an option gameplan. We need a QB like Mike Jinks. If we can find us someone like him, I think we could definitely have great success running the option.
One thing I would like to do is bring a TE or WR in motion even on running plays....just to confuse the defense a little bit. However, with all the procedure penalties we already get, I think the motion would be a bit much.

MY THOUGHTS ON THE GAME
JUDSON
is it just me or does Harris remind you of a certain #22 who used to light it up in the early 90s for Judson? He scores at will, especially in this weak district.
We need to stop trying to block punts. It hurt us against Pflugerville with a roughing the kicker. Tonight we got two roughing the kicker penalties on the same drive....I honestly feel the first one was bogus. It was a superb acting job by the punter.....after that penalty, Judson shouldn't have even tried to block the next one....but we did and we definitely roughed the punter that time. It was unfortunate too, cause we ran the punt back for a TD.
Our passing game was on tonight. I don't know his name, but that one kid had a sweet one handed stab, with the defender all over him, at the 2. Only twice did we miss golden opportunities while passing. On the first play of the game we missed a wide open WR. The ball was a tad bit long. Too bad, cause it was an easy 6, since he was so wide open. Later in the game we had another pass slightly overthrown at about the 15.....But other than those two plays, I was very pleased with how our passing game complimented our rushing attack tonight.
Our D was sick tonight.....they were hitting hard and forced some turnovers.....kudos to the defense, who had Highlands in 3rd and long or 4th and long for much of the evening.
HIGHLANDS
I hope their starting QB is ok. He is also their punter. On the second roughing the kicker play, he got injured trying to tackle the returner. I believe it was an arm injury. I hope he makes a speedy recovery.....I hate injuries.
That backup QB was awesome. He had a nice arm and some touch on that ball. That #9 WR was a beast. I see these two hooking up quite a bit for the remainder of the season. #80 isn't too shabby either. Both of these guys are tall and are able to fight and catch the ball in traffic.
They sure do use a lot of funky formations on offense. It is unfortunate that they don't have the talent that some of the upper tier schools do, cause that offense would be lethal.....what with all those weird formations and such.
They had a nice little halftime presentation as well.
My only beef with Highlands was the clowns. I hate clowns....
I am pleased with the effort put forth by my mom's alma mater.
THE REFS
PATHETIC.....they were absolutely horrible tonight.
both teams deserve an apology from this crew. On the play where the punter was injured, there was an illegal block to the back that wasn't called.
Highlands got away with an obvious offsides.
Oh and just before the half, Judson runs a play and with like 25 seconds, tries to call a TO. The QB and Rackley are both signalling TO, but none of the refs will blow the whistle. So Judson runs a play. Then with 2 seconds left and 4th and goal on the 1, the Judson QB signals TO again....but the refs let the clock wind to the half. This was the most ridiculous and apathetic display I have ever seen from an entire officiating crew. IMO, this was right up there with that idiot ref who did the coin toss in that Pittsburgh Steelers game several years back. Bettis called heads, it landed heads, and he gave the ball to the other team.....the entire national audience could here the whole scenario.....that ref made a fool of himself.....and so did this officiating crew, with that horrendous display.
So far I am not at all pleased with the 27-5A officials. In the Wagner game, they couldn't manage the clock right all game. and now in this game, they ignore TO calls on back to back plays.

Jerod's records would be unreal, if Rutledge would have allowed him to play during all the garbage minutes that guys like Wilkinson, Wright, and some other area RBs have gotten.
I honestly feel that Harris could have had 10 TDs tonight, had we rode that horse all night long. However, the coaches spread the ball around. But it was apparent, and has been apparent all year, that Harris is what makes our offense go.
He wont get any records, cause Rackley is like Rutledge. He will pull him and let the backups play. Of course, he will still have a very impressive senior campaign.

judson had way too many penalties tonight.....i know we won, but we are playing a lower level of competition this year and when the playoffs arrive penalties like roughing the kicker and holding will hurt us versus more talented teams form 28-5a.
even if we get by the first round, it only gets tougher with 26-5a
hope the coaches stay on these kids and keep them focused, i believe we have the talent to make a run but playing in 27-5a can hurt us in the long run.

I'll point some things out and comment on the bolded:
-The first roughing the kicker penalty actually was legit. Gaines (I believe) rolled into him after he dove to block it but he couldn't help himself. The punt where the punter got hurt and it was taken back was an acting job for sure. He dove and was about 2 or 3 inches away from the guy's foot sticking out and the guy buckled at his place foot's knee and fell to the ground like someone took out the leg. Great acting though I'll give him that.
-The guy that made the awesome 1 handed grab was #8 Jacob English
-I was wondering why Rackley didn't call a TO. I saw Chris trying to call a TO after the play with :25 on the clock and they were on the 1 with :04 left and no TO and they had 3. I was confused bt I didn't check to see if Rackley was signaling. Dissapointment there

Westlake has always played in a Weak district and it never hurt them! Westlake went from losing to Reagan in 1990 14-3, to past 2003, when they finally lost to Hays and San Marcos, then two years ago they lost to Austin, an AISD school again, it took more than a decade to lose a district game, yet they won state and played for several titles.

Actually, based on my angle on the first kick, he never touched the punter....the second kick he got all ankle. This was my assessment from the stands. I am sure since you are on the sidelines, you have a different angle. Perhaps your angle was better than mine, so I will have to take your word on that.
Rackley was running to the refs with his hands in the TO position for about 3-4 seconds...when the refs ignored him, he stopped and carried on with his coaching job. Personally after they ignored the first timeout, i would have ran to the 50 yard line and signalled TO.
We need to throw it to English more often.....that kid caught can catch.

Highlands scored two TDs. The second was on an impressive 80 yd march down the field. The first, was a gift from Judson. Three 4th down penalties, 2 roughing the punter and 1 holding (should have been offsetting cause the offensive LT had our DE in an ankle lock on the play). Then on the TD pass, our defender made a great pass defend (I say this cause several times last night, the Highlands WRs would go up with our defender and still catch the ball, especially their #9). But when our defender knocked the ball away, one of their other receivers made a great diving grab in the back of the endzone for the TD. That first scoring drive at up almost the first six minutes of the 3rd quarter......
Ironically, after that drive, Judson stopped trying to block punts. The punter (2nd stringer, cause the starting QB/P was injured on the second roughing the punter play when he was trying to tackle the PR for Judson) had some horrible kicks the rest of the game.
Speaking of punters.....our punter was booming the ball last night. I was impressed. Of course, he still doesn't get the vertical that the Wagner punter got.....

I think the Refs did not want the game to turn into an embarrassment that might be why they ingored the time out request. The ref's ran the clock in the second half just like against South San. I can see the ref's point, but also if Judson is trying to practice a ball control situation to help them later down the road it could hurt them if the officials are not letting them put in the work in the first half. The team still has a long way to go to prepare for that playoff run. Keep trying to block punts, block better, develop the WR's and TE's and get back to that 8-11 man hard hitting d-fense that we all love.

Well, I was wrong on both accounts. Judson didn't get 50 and Highlands scored, not once but twice. But in my defense, Judson hurt themselves with too many penalties. They had 3 TD's called back due to penalties and were inside the 3 yd line at the end of the 1st half and at the end of the game. Anyone at the game would admit this one could have been really ugly. The point I tried to make, and still believe, the UIL had no business putting Judson in this district. All the games are going to be like this. The UIL could have put together a district that included SV, Judson, Wagner, NB, & EC. Maybe throw in South San & Highlands to fill the district. A district of that make up would be more competitive and have all SA area teams, that would benefit as far as travel is concerned. Just my thoughts.

if the refs ignored the TOs then that should be some violation. Each team is given 3 timeouts per half to use as they see fit. The refs should have no say so when the team can call a TO, nor should the refs be able to ignore TO requests as long as the team has TOs to use. Do you really think that 27-5A has their own chapter of officials. Oh man, this is worse than I thought. The San Antonio chapter calls all home games in San Antonio or Converse in this case. They are the same for all schools in the San Antonio area. As a matter of fact, most of the officials you have for Judson games this year are the same guys that you had last year. Coach Rackley gets to pick the officials for each home game. (Usually the other teams coach is there and they have to agree on the officials for each game)

Most underrated RB in SA area.
He is a very good back. I'm not too sure how underrated he is by his opponents, but certainly by the media. With Green, only a Soph, and traditionally no Love for Judson by the Media until they are the only team left in SA playing. I wish one of these great SA reporters would do a story on all the Madison players that have addresses in the Judson district! But that is just me. To all you that think this district will hurt Judsons run into the playoffs. You have a good concern, however, playing in the weaker district will hopefully help them to enter the playoffs heathier. The luxury of holding out a starter who would have to play in 26-5A in order to make the playoffs can rest and heal instead of grind it out week to week just to stay alive in the playoff hunt. I know the competition is not even close to 26 but if Judson takes care of its own business they should be fine. SV can up to 5A and went into a very weak district and ended up playing for a state championship. So, it certainly can be done. Judson has played probably the 2 worst teams in south san and highlands. Victoria, King and carroll can all play decent football and can make Judson work a little bit and EC has been kind of a grudge game over the years so they might be able to muster a challange for the Rockets. The first round of the playoffs is the Northside district and then I think its 26 but I'm not sure about that. Judson beats teams they shouldnt beat all the time in the playoffs. They will be fine.
Lights Out

We just opened the “FOXS PIZZA” in Converse and today starting at 5:00 PM will have $2.00 slices and XL $14.00 in our parking lot and the store for those on the GO! We will do this for every home game. Also we will stay open late for after the game. We are next to the Sonic. Call the store 888-FOXS (3697) place an order before the game!
Welcome to Converse" Chico" Besides the Pizza I hear the "Grinders" are to die for. Best of luck in your new venture. With you're Rocket Pride attitude I'm sure you will succeed.

My brother was telling me that Green should actually be playing for either Judson or Wagner....that his family actually lives in the Judson district.....it this is true, I wonder why he would rather go to Madison than Judson....I could see Madison over Wagner, cause Madison is already established and Wagner is still in its infancy as a program. Still, with a player of his caliber, he could have been known as the kid who built the foundation for the Wagner program.
Oh well, we recruited Jerod...so I don't get too upset when other schools recruit from our boundaries.

I didnt know if it was like college where each conference has their own officiating crew. I figured each district had their own crew. Either way, I have not been pleased with the horrible officiating the last two weeks. The whole timeout incident just irks me to know end and will continue to do so for quite some time. Penalties are subjective and sometimes with the speed of the game, bad or missed calls happen. I can live with that and let it go easier. However, to just ignore coaches and players on back to back plays while trying to call timeouts...that is inexcusable.
