Sv hit SM hard and they are playing well. SM had some turnovers and sv is known to come after the ball. Does anydody no who the player that recovered the kickoff ball? He had a great block on one of SM kickoff coverage team two. Looked like a talented player! Any info? Anybody think Sv has it to win it all this year? Go Mustangs

Grab a program at the next game, they are very good. Has picture, as well as all the other info. I do not know a lot about 41, except that I think that was Joe's old number... I dont see it as much as I did last year.

41 is saadoff. he doesn't play much but should see time next year. Right now its all about Volz, Kovar, Burns, and even Kitchen at the LB spot. Saadoff is a junior who is a Lb if u didn't figure it out by now and will be good for next year. :)

He also has a great #. One of my favorite players from SV had that one, he should feel proud. Maybe the "crazy" that Joe had will rub off on him. Or maybe he will make that number his own.. That would be nice. You know another great player that does not get much attention is Reagan Moczygemba on defense. Have you noticed how many big plays he has made this year. I thing he has got every onside this year, and has saved some big plays from taking place...That could have changed the outcome of some games.

Smithson Valley is not short any were, exspecialy in the secondary. With Hernandez and Sendaho, they fit the D-1 profile. The Reagon kid has not grab my attention. I have seen some of the onside kicks he has got, if i dont recall he lost one to madison.

I would of liked to see Reagen at reciever again this year, He was one of those good players who was overlooked. I'm not sure how his performance was during the District play but playoffs last year he put so much effort into every play! He's held up suprisingly well at safety, although i feel sometimes he could have picked several balls but instead batted them down, either way its all a judgement call and hes doing well.
I'm not taking anything away from Mooch, just stating a fact that in the Reagen game their onside was kicked to him and Reagen recovered and scored on an aggie pass the next play. Which brought them to another onside kick to reagen which he recovered something im sure was hard to do after missing the first one

They seem to always kick it his way, and he has recovered all but that one. IMO, he is not the safety type player, but he has taken the position, and has done a great job. That position as SV is not the same as other places. It is very difficult to play. The defense at SV looks very simple and foward, however it is VERY difficult to learn. The S positions require lots of knowledge anyway, and SV requires more than most, so he is doing great.

Reagan is a good player, but i agree that he would be a better fit for the offense...he could take some pressure off Clay and Cody in the slot reciever spot.I dont think the safety position would stuggle much w/o him, because Steffen vickers and Matt duncan already get plenty of playing time, and are very talented, and Arron Hernadez to.
