I know it's only the second game of district play, but it's honestly surprising to see Cy Creek 2-0 in district. Cy Falls is the other undefeated team in district. Seems like Creek's strategy against Shep worked.

This 15-5A season can make for an interesting one with Ridge already having a loss in district, Fair has yet to win a game, Springs is surprising people (I wasn't actually), Creek is undefeated in district (I'm surprised there), Langham isn't too shabby, Woods certainly is a very good team, etc. I think JV will end up last in district, that's the only one I'm fairly certain about. And hopefully Falls can continue to win in district.

Cy Creek is a bit like Springs in that they both had a good backbone last year but weren't quite getting it done. They are both a year older and better. I'm a little surprised they beat Ridge but not shocked. I wasn't shocked at the way Springs played against us last night but I am even more impressed that the Eagles didn't fall apart and did what they had to do in the end. It's good to see other teams who have been down come back up - just hope they don't come up too far when we play them;). Cy Fair is the one that is surprising me. I surely thought they would have won a couple by now. Typical year in CFISD!!
