In preparation for the SLC vs Allen football game on this coming Saturday,
I went down to my bank and took out a loan.

I figured if we are playing at Texas Stadium again I might as well go all out and treat myself to a nacho and sodie. I know it isn't smart to go into debt over such a silly thing as a football game, but i just wanted to treat myself this one time.

The sad part of this whole deal was that after signing the papers and getting charged 26.9% interest on the loan, I noticed that my banker had a Carroll Dragon decal on the side of his computer monitor. ;^)

Man, I just can't catch a break!

I just might even spring for some chili on those nachos. It almost feels like being a king or something!

Texas Stadium, what a grand rip-off!

I can't wait for the new MONSTRAUSITY(sp?) to be built in Arlington!

Good luck everybody!

We tailgated (with 7 people to feed). It was cheaper to buy two tickets each and go each between the games...since we stayed all day. We went to the suburban in shifts and had our dinner. I agree with you. We figured a case of water would cost $112.00 at Texas Stadium. A $3.50 cokes cost them maybe pushing it 10 cents.

That's a good idea for saving money.

That monstrosity in Arlington will cost just as much. Jerry doesn't do anything without a plan to make money. He probably wants a roof on the next one so he can charge for air! :D

What would be really cool is to have a weekend of games at both Texas Stadium and The Arlington Stadium for the state Championship games. A cool schedule would be.

Arlington Stadium
Saturday - 12 - 1A Div 2 Championship
Saturday - 3 - 3A Div 2 Championship
Saturday - 6 - 5A Div 1 Championship

Texas Stadium
Saturday - 12 - 2a Div 2 Championship
Saturday - 3 - 4A Div 2 Championship
Saturday - 6 - 5A Div 2 Championship

All you have to do is add another stadium such as the Cotton Bowl, Amon G. Carter, or Ford Field and you would have all 9 title games not including 6-man.

Houston is more than welcome to do the same with 3 stadiums. San Antonio can do it, just like some other towns. I always loved going to the Superdome for the Louisiana state title games in December.
