I'm watching your game as we speak on channel 77 in the austin area, and i've got a question. Where in the worldl is Max Minor. He seems like he has been out forever on what was supposed to be a minor (no pun intended) injury

Wait, time out. Will a Pville fan explain that last play of the game to me??? That was one of the most classless things i've seen. You call a timeout with 6 seconds left in the game and your up by 10, just so antwan can have a 95 yard run??? Thats basically what i saw.

Up by 10? Time running out? Priceless. Mabye some bad blood between the two teams? Someone talk crap to the Pville coach? Gotta be a story there somewhere.
Of course, if this is accruate, it's pretty darn stupid. Why risk your number one back blowing out a knee on another play? Or your QB takes season-ending shot as he hands off? Or one of your O-linemen get rolled up on the back of a leg? Get the picture?
That was just plain old Texas-sized dumb.

I believe Max caming limping out after just one play. Would have been great to have Max back this weekend, but it just wasn't to be. What a game for Dornak to come into after being out with a broken leg from the first game vs Leander. I believe the first contact he had was in this game!
I certainly would want to be in the position of being a PV fan to explain this PV coaches action. It would certainly be an embarrassment to me if roles reversed. Taking a knee is the obvious class call. The PV coaching staff is obviously lacking in this area. Likewise, when players are ejected from a game you have to wonder why aren't the coaches having better influence on their players. Much more than the game of football is taught by the coaching staff and too bad for such a community role model.
It was fitting for the PV coach that he didn't get to artificailly jack up the game points differential for recognitions sake like he wanted, but instead had his stud running back showcased loosing the foot race to the goal line!

classless? are you serious? we were in our own 4 on 4th down. it was a brilliant call to just run it instead of trying to see if westlake could block a punt or giving up 2 and then watch westlake tie it up and throw it to OT.
would westlake have just kneeled it if we'd given them the ball on the 2 yard line? dont act like they would. they play to win like everybody else
now maybe antwan should have run out of bounds at the 20 or whatever after he'd made the first down, but i can't blame him for running for the endzone. he just barely turned the corner to get out of the endzone and avoid the saftey. it's westlake's job to tackle. they did a poor job of it.
seriously there's entirely too many people on this site without the least clue about football.

^^that wasnt the case at all. You guys ran a qb sneak on 3rd down and it looked like the clock was just gonna run out and he got straight up and called a time out when the clock could have ran out. You wouldnt have had to worry about a blocked punt. Explain that. You can't say exactly what i said didnt happen, because i just got through watching the game on TV and the Westlake announcers were like thats your ball game.......wait are they calling a time out. Are you serioius. blah blah blah. How classless.

The clock would not have run out. They ran the play clock all the way down to one before they called the timeout. That left like 6 seconds on the clock. It was a good call to just run the ball on that play and not classless in my opinion. You'd hate to take the safety there and then give Staton Jobe a chance at returning the KO for a touchdown. The last P'ville KO, he brought out from about 8 yds. deep in the end zone all the way to the P'ville 40 yd. line.
The coach surely didn't expect the play to go 95 yds., but it sure did show some heart for Jobe to chase him down and push him out at the 2.

Pflugerville was going to be penalized half the distance to the goalline with 6 seconds left in the game if they did not call the timeout. The clock was not going to run out. They just decided to run a sweep play to run out the clock instead of risk punting the football and having it blocked or their punter roughed up with Westlake trying to block it. It was a great decision. The Westlake announcers are two of the most clueless guys I've heard call a game and made a dumb comment. If Westlake would have tackled Cobb instead of missing like 5 tackles on the play it wouldn't have looked that bad and the clock would have run out.

you dont know what the fcuk you're talking about. STFU. i was at the game. as has been stated, the clock would not run out. if the westlake people were tired and wanted to go home then they needed to quit calling their timeouts. they sure used them in the last 50 seconds. or the clock would have run out. but no, they called them as we dived up the middle 3 times from our own 2 yard line.

We may have to draw the Leander guy a picture. He seems a little slow.

not tense at all but it bothers the hell out of me when clowns that have no idea what's going on start accusing my coach and team of trying to run up the score.
