On www.texasfootballratings.com, Madison is favored by 8. Keep in mind Clemens was also favored to win by 8. That certainly didn't happen. I see Madison by 2 or more TDs.

Quite the move by Madison in Jerry's number game...from #36 to #16! :D Anyway, he picked the SM game wrong and the SC game wrong. So let's hope his being wrong is limited to Madison v 25 teams. :D

Calpreps was right on all 3 games last week. Boy, you should see their latest national rankings. There's over 14,100 teams in the U.S. and check out these schools on the 26-5A teams schedules this year and their current national rankings:

MacArthur 469
Clark 417
Clemens 408
O'Connor 355
Reagan 293
Pflugerville 193
Judson 113
Jay 101
Madison 45
Cove 35
SV 20

The 26-5A guys are going to keep shooting up, especially if guys like Nixon, Pflugerville, and Cove keep winning too. Judson has almost caught their potential semifinal opponent.

Even Massey had Clemens at 21 and Madison at 27...I just think Jerry's got something off in his power rating.

The biggest flaw in Jerry's system as it appears to me is that he adjusts the numbers each week based upon last week's games. It looks like everybody else looks at all the games to get a rating. That means Jerry overinflates and underinflates teams many times based upon what their preseason numbers looked like.

Massey has been killing Judson. :mad:
