My 15 year old and his buddies woke up early to go hand out MREs and ice for FEMA in a local area that has no electricity yet.
he did not totally volunteer, as community service is required by his ROTC class. The attitude of the three amigos pumped me up this morning. They were motivated and happy to go out and help folks today.
I called a friend that lives over by Beaumont and we were talking about our kids and he told me his son and others did the same thing last week.
Earthshattering news? probably not.
good news in a barrage of stuff about our kids never get anything right? absolutely.
