Should be a great game and I am really looking forward to it. Hoping for a Leander win but know these are 2 great football teams about to clash. Man R2 is loaded.

I was sitting behind the Leander coaches that were scouting the game....They quit taking notes early and left in the 3rd quarter

Welch even got some JV boys in the game and they were moving the ball till time ran out

Same with you guys my man, same with you guys lol. I'm so pumped, i've been looking forward to this game ever since the year started basically. I knew that if we won that yall would probably win district and this match up would come up. I think it will be a good one. When did you hear for sure that it was at RR ISD stadium.

The game should be great 2 teams that can do good things on both side of the ball.
However I dislike the palace. last year it took over an hour just to get out of the parking lot, bad planning, and no flow.

^^thats for sure, but i do like the stadium itself and when it comes down to it, it is only 5 miles away from my house ;) .

Too true, parking is horrible but the stadium is great. Love that there is no track gets you that much closer to the action. And can't beat a playoff game ten minutes from home. After a game there 2 years ago, my boys and I threw a football around until the traffic cleared.

I like it cause its close to Georgetown where i live. Keep these games close to the area. I spend way too much in gas going to Cove and all the other games up north when we play so i like these playoff games close to home.

Cove has two things to avenge here...previous lose to Pena lead Leander and "the Palace" itself, site of the "Cedar Park incident", returning to the scene of the crime..........

Time to rename the Palace to "Dawg Pound South"

How bout Dawg Pound Central if we get the win? We renamed the San Marcos stadium Dawg Pound South last weekend.

Should be a good game but i still say if we come out like last week we will win big again. If not, Leander will make it tough on us.

Time to rename the Palace to "Dawg Pound South"

The Pena-less Lions are a compleatly different team, when we played them in killeen they were a running type team, and now they have to pass which I feel plays into the Dawgs favor. Tim, Mario, Alphanso, Joseph should all have a huge night. The front line will also put a lot of pressure on this young but talented QB.

Also it was not the field that beat the Dawgs in the "Cedar Park Incident" the Dawgs had early mistakes that CP was good enough to take advantage of. This years Dawg team does not make many mistakes.
DAWGS go on to the winner of the Dallas Carter/ Garland game. Hope its at "The Dawg Pound North" ie Waco. And yes I am looking ahead, but I havent played for 20 years so I can do that.
