Actually not missing because of the budget, they don't want so many kids getting in at 2am and having to get to school in the morning. Guess they pulled out their calculator and figured out just how many kids would not show up for school which of course would put a dent in their attendance stats.

The reason for this being a Thursday game, is due to the fact that the Fort Worth ISD has 13 high schools, and only 3 stadiums. And, before someone else says it, yes...we do need another stadium.

It wasn't me! Not even I think Paschal will win- they are much better than they've been, but they still have given up a large number of points. Good offense( against lesser opponents), no defense.

I was gonna ask if any of ya'lls new district teams had a good enough defense that they could at least hope for a tie and go to ot. Then I remembered you could probably run the kickoff back or Chris Williams would intercept one and return it for a score.:D

No offense, but you would think that they would televise a better game. I did however see some Paschal players heading down I-20 with those things the cops throw out on the roads to flatten the tires. I hope the bus drivers for Abilene are watching for those as they go down Ranger Hill.

Dang, I forgot about Ranger Hill as an ambush spot. :confused: Maybe they should go through Albany and Breckenridge.:ninja:

Thanks Elkfbfan. I will try to add meaningful insight to this message board but I wouldn't count on me being successful in that endeavor.
I think the Weatherford players may try to ambush the Paschal players who are trying to ambush the Abilene players. I would stay clear of I-20 west of Ft Worth on Thursday afternoon. It could be a major mess......

Certainly they are not going o televise this game.....oh well that will give me a chance to watch it since we were not going to make the trip since it is a thursday night game. Dont know much about paschall other than the info u can find on this site. i saw they got thumped by weatherford last week which is not a good sign for FWP....anyone got any info on them?

I woudn't trust any stats that come from the Abilene fish wrap. If these were true though, their QB has twice as many INTs as TDs. That does not bode well for them going against a defense that has 25 takeaways in 5 games.:laugh

On the Friday night scoreboard show on FSW, they talked about their upcoming Thursday night game and this game was NOT it. I cannot remember which game it was though. Sorry Charlie.:) Drive on over though-it's almost your neck of the woods.

The strength of Paschal's team is their run offense. Their passing game isn't the best by any means, except for the homerun ball that won them the game against Irving Nimitz. Abilene should win this game by ATLEAST 4 touchdowns..maybe more. If I don't have to work, I'll be at this game since it's about 7 or 8 minutes from where I live.

Plus 12 I believe. That is sad really. We take it away 5 times a game and give it back 2+. We can get away with that in this district but we can't do that against good teams IMHO. :(

What's even more sad is most of the time those turnovers are senseless fumbles. The first thing the coaches teach them is to hold onto the ball and thus far we haven't done that great of a job of it.
