Defense came to play tonight. 3 Interceptions for touchdowns 2 by one lineman. Dominic was contained well tonight. Defense swarmed all night long. Way to go D!

I didnt see that coming like that. I predicted Oak to win but thought it would be more like 24-17 or something like that.

Yes big suprise I did not think it would be this great of a margin, but 6 or 7 turnovers by Forest will do that. Oak came out to play tonight.

I am so proud of these kids. This is why I love this football team. They were run all over by the Wilkins kid last year on national tv and so I am sure coach Smith let them know about it all this week. Then they come out and totally shut down Wilkins. These kids are winners. The offense was spectacular as always. I hope the Defense can play like that for the rest of the district games. Good win OAK.

Congrats Oak - very surprising score. KF had a very good D last year.

I was shocked by the result. I thought KF would win. I underestimated the lack of discipline and composure of KF. I also underestimated the quality of the coaching of KO. The team was well prepared, aggressive, and disciplined. My case of "Coaching Envy" just got worse.

Hope our Kats (and their coaches) got to see some of that last night. I am very worried about our upcoming tilt vs. the Panthers. Kudo's to KO for a well played game. I think some critics were silenced last night. I know this one was...

8 turnovers. Congrats Oak on the win. Smith got to keep the playbook simple because of the meltdown by KF.

Although KF played sloppy, KO came ready to play. And really forced some of those turnovers themselves and some of them like I said earlier, were just sloppy play by KF. The center and QB for KF better get things together.

KO still has a good run game and the whole offense is far more complete. The biggest need I see is the deep threat that Desean Hales had provided in the past. You have Jordan Navjar who is a big, physical TE who is used to block, but so far the biggest impact has been in the pass game. Max Stevenson has very good size and potential to be a very good WR, but I think lacks the speed a true deep threat needs. Navjar and Stevenson will have the most looks in the redzone - being 6'5" will do that (especially in highschool). Andy Wilson looks to be a good QB, who can do alittle running, but more importantly keep the pass game going. As long as he doesn't commit turnovers and makes smart, accurate throws the offense should be great shape. Devin Dickerson who was injured last night may be that threat, but I don't know his speed, but he is a capable WR along with the other 2 pass-catchers. Tory or Cory Waites could be that, but they aren't nearly as electric as Hales was. Granted, they are only sophmores. The defense was on fire, hopefully it carries over to the playoffs and we can make a long - great run.

The changes made on the D side worked great! - They put tremendous pressure on the Forest O using great spped and agressiveness -- we just need to keep that going.
