Carroll's subs are getting quality playoff experience the entire second half..As I said earlier in the week..I-mac has an ok Defense, but no running game and the QB is very inaccurate...Does'nt say much for SGP if they beat them....

McElroy didn't play in the 2nd half and Newton only played one series. The platooning of the WRs was very heavily weighted to the subs the entire 2nd half. Most of the defensive starters were gone by mid 3rd quarter.

Your view of the game is so far off the mark & you know it...The D-Line at the beginning of the second half was all guys who never get to play..give Coach Dodge some props for clearing the bench & letting the kids play..sure Mc jammed one of his non throwing fingers...bur did it matter? Actually I hate to say it, but we have already played a team with a better quarterback than ours. That game was against Colleyville Heritage and he is better than both Potts and McElroy

From looking at Southlake tonight and hearing how Allen did against CHS. Southlake will wipe the floor with the Eagles next week. No smack on Allen but that CHS ran up and down the field on y'll(and they can't score). SLC will score on y'll. Good luck though!!!

yeah they looked determined, i like this fire...reminds me of the coolest sign i have ever seen, i was walking to the tunnel right before halftime, and this kid had a sign probalyl a 8-10 year old kid, it said Die Cardinals...it had a dragon burning a cardnial (with fire) it was sooooo cool

The game was so one sided it became very uncomfortable. It was merciful for McElroy to come out. For Newton to come out. For Renfro to come out. For Jacobsen (sp?) to come out. Why would you risk McElroy or the rest of these other players in a game you could have scored 70+ points in. I was glad for Imac that they were able to do something in the second half. Theyu exposed a little bit of the SLC defense. But would they have been able to do that if the pressure were not let off by the SLC offense? I was hoping for IMac to provide a good game. In my opinion they did not. I did not see either the SGP or Trinity games. I hoestly don't know how Imac was able to beat SGP. Even if they withheld three fourth quarter field goals by SGP to win, it is hard to undertand how the SGP defense di not score a point. But they did. So they deserve that credit. I think that the SLC offense is so overwhelming that the game gets out of hand so fast, that they can make otherwise decent teams look very bad.

I can only hope that SGP can go as far as meeting with SLC. I would measure them against the IMac game. Imac was behind 21-0 with 2:19 left in the first quarter and 41-0 at half. Imac ended up scoring 21 points. Unbeliveable really. But those were when the game was no longer in doubt. It would be a great achievemnet to make SLC really play full out for three quarters anyway let alone the whole game. I don't believe Newton played the last couple of games for the season ...

Mac not playing had NOTHING to do with an injury. He took him out because it is the playoffs and if you lose you go home. Why risk the injury. He did not do it much in the reg season because it is not the same circumstances.
