I've said many times on this board that player for player Pville can match up with most anyone they play. Their problem throughout the season has been turnovers. If they do not turn the ball over they are very very difficult to beat.

Consol now runs also from the shotgun.........last night they went back to their triple option/wing-t attack. They have really gelled together..and unlike a couple of years ago when they lost to P-Ville......they have not lost 6 players like they did the last time to grades.

P-ville's QB isnt that bad he can run when he needs to with pretty good speed, hes tall and can throw over the O-Line i think it will be a very good contest im gonna go with a 24-27 win for A&M

Cobb is a triple threat (running, recieving, and returning), he's dangerous with the ball in his hands. He's pretty good on defense too. Marlin Williams is a bruiser running the ball and a hitter on defense as well. They have another back, I can't remember his name, who is fast and a threat as well. The secondary likes to let recievers get their hands on the ball then level them with their safeties. If you make a catch you pay a high price. Their front four is tough as well.Sendero is right that if they hang on to the ball they can ply with anyone. The games they haven't been able to hold the ball have all been close against good teams(Leander, Judson, & SV)

Gotta go with my peeps in 13-5A and i am confident they can pull out the vistory over Pville.

Pville is good but turnovers and inconsistancy have been their downfall this year. Play 4 quarters of solid ball and you will win.

There was only one time in this season that I thought we were going to lose a game sometime in the 4th Q. Every other game, I thought we'd win, including Cove up until that last pass was broken up.

There is something really cool about knowing, just knowing that you are never out of any game. The confidence from all those come-back wins is incredible. Couple that with the fact that the D is playing so darn well lately, the threat of huge deficits seems to be a thing of the past (hopefully). But still, the offense has the confidence they need. And it just grew even bigger last night.

Should be a good game. I know I'll be there.

With Westlake having played both teams, although A&M early and Pflugerville in the post season, I would have to say that Pflugerville has the edge here. Cobbs is quick and tough to get a handle on and not to mention that the quaterback has wheels, can pass well, and the defensive line is quick to fill the gaps. Cobbs is the best running back I have seen this season. I would like to see an A&M victory here, but if PV doesn't miss-handle the ball, their offense is very hard to stop. I'll have to go along with PV over A&M by 10.

Although records may not mean much in this "new" season. I am still looking at a 4 loss Pville team. That means that chances are Pville will make some mistakes as it seems they are prone to do. I will pick AMC in this one by a slight margin.

Pflugerville has a horrible record, but all I can say is if they never fumble the ball, from here on out, they will be in the state finals. They are a very good team, that has been killing themselves in about every loss this year.

This is going to be a hard pick ummmm..... I think A&M going to win this one since they beat The Woodlands but as well Pflugerville beat a good team Austin Westlake. This playoffs seem strange since alot of teams didn't beat others very good enough.

I've always thought the Woodz was one of the most overrated teams in history except for the year they lost to North Shore in the championship. But Antwan Cobb will be the best rb you've seen all year, and Tyler Beatty isnt to bad of a qb either. I think it will be a very high scoring game, but i dont think you will be able to match them score for score.

Oh trust me, your far from an underdog. I think it will be a great game with two evenly matched teams, but i think Pville will win. Its not like that. If anything i'd say that Pville is the underdog.

Con should be favored to win this game. Pflugerville beat an overrated Westake team. Con put it to a very good Woodlands team. This will be a very close football game.

He can pin you deep and you have to figure if the offense can drive the ball inside the 40..he gives you a chance for 3.
offense has been the only weakness for this team lately..QB posistion is below average but if they can run the ball like they did last week vs The Woodlands they will be fine. If you had a QB that could get #9 Lewis the ball..that would add another dimension.
offensive playcalling has also been suspect the last 5-6 weeks.
this should be a good game and looks as if we may finally have some football weather to enjoy it in.

Myatt is capable of getting the ball to the receivers. When the Oline gives him time, he does well. He's also got a quick release. He does a great job of staying within himself and not turning the ball over. His zero turnovers in the last two games are one of the many keys to our success. He makes good decisions. And, he has composure, handling the pressure well. Not afraid to lower his head and take on a linebacker as you can see from his two rushing TD's.

We are not asking him to win the game, just asking him not to lose it. There is an entire stable of running backs on call, from slashers to bulldozers. If the QB keeps making good decisions and the D continues to play lights out, we willl keep winning.

It's all about turnovers at this level. I'd be suprised if any team with more turnovers actually won their game last weekend.
