At one point, a kid wearing Marcus Wright's old number (#21) carried the ball. The public address announcer couldn't find his name in the program. After several carries, the PA announcer finally said we'll find out that kid's name and get back with you. The kids name was JJ Rudd and they moved him up from JV for the game.

WOW!!! how cool that must have been for him!!! He will never forget last night...it is days like that as players, parents, and fans that make it all worth while...for the kids, the hard work outs before and after school...the AUGUST 2-a-day's...the late night pick ups for the parents...and the laryngitis for the fans that go out there and yell their butt's (sorry Lord) off...no matter what is going on in the world...this takes us to a place that makes us feel good about our Lord, ourselves, our families and we thank him and say...praise to you for all the great things I (we) have in our lives...

good luck the rest of the season...may all those involved stay healthy and lift it all to our Lord...
