Yes they were scheduled. Then this little storm blew through named Ike. Well it didn't like the Beaumont area and it trashed them pretty badly. So football was called off a couple of weeks. The Beaumont coach didn't think the game with Katy was going to be possible so the game was called off. Katy found a different opponent. The Westbrook team showed allot of heart and bounced back quicker than expected and the Westbrook coach decided to find a game. Any is better than none to get ready for district. So they found a different opponent as well.
