Oh! I see. Harker Heights only played well because the Panthers underestimated them. Go figure.

haha dont start talking crap the panthers did underestimate them come on when you have everyone telling you how good you are and you should win by a blowout and you are the 4th rated team in the state of texas and # 21 in the nation andplaying a 6-4 team what do you expect. yes the panthers underestimated them but HH played a great game and that is the bottom line that is whay i am trying to get at. you just worry about katy.

I'd guess that a lot of future opponents just got some great game film on how to beat Lufkin. One round, maybe two more and that'll be it (my guess only). Or you win State and HH just looks that much better!
You always play the what if game, but what if HH doesn't open the game with an on-side kick and leave Lufkin with a short field for their first TD.
Did Ross out guess himself?

I need not worry. We won 48-0 over a 7-3 team.
texasfootballratings.com had Lufkin 33 point favorites.
I have a feeling there will be a lot of apprehension in the stands next week amongst the Panther faithful.
Good luck.

Pack98 I think you hit the nail on the head. I'l be interested in Pack0808 and Wide's comments when they get back home. I wasn't there, but it sounded like Lufkin just wasn't firing on all cylinders. Sounded like the QB was trying to read too much at line of scrimmage.
Just like the radio guys said. Lufkin finally showed up in OT. Defense and Offense!
We get to live another week and I'm sure the coaches have found some things to work on. I have complete confidence in Coach Outlaw and his staff. They seem to work miracles at times!

Its funny how a team wins a close game and people think the season is over. Correct me if I am wrong, but did'nt Southlake Carroll barely win a game a few weeks ago along with Longview? So are these teams pretty much done too? Get over it, a win is a win, the pack will be ready next week, trust me.
