I don't know if any of you ever visit woot.com but basically at midnight every night they have some crazy deal on a product and they just sell it until it is sold out. Rinse and repeat the next day until eternity.

Well every once in a while they have a woot off which is where they sell different products all day long in smaller quanities at crazy low prices.

Earlier today I bought an 8GB flash drive for $14.99 + $5 shipping and just a minute ago they had a 22" LCD HDTV/Monitor for $249.99.

Pretty good deals...

I've been going there for years....it's on my favorites....check it almost every night after midnight...I've bought a few things.....no problems with the remanufactured stuff.....I'm still waiting to get my bag of crap....I always seem to miss them....:D

I got a random box once but it was just a shirt. I was pretty disappointed because you can get almost anything, even some of the TV's that didn't sell out.

Damn they are selling an HP 2710p business tablet for literally half of the price at HP.com. That thing is almost $2000 and they have it going for $800!

ok, I really didnt. but I sure could have. I had to have my spicy Latina come and get my card so I wouldnt be able to buy stuff all day. ok wait. That's not entirely accurate. I really wanted to see her so I used that as an excuse and it worked.

Kool site though. I got the whole department talking about it. Kinda funny, everybody doing that instead of their job.. :D

Na. they arent angry most of the time. Or rather, they arent when they call. By the time I get done making them feel stoopid for being born they usually are. Really though, I do give them a really hard time. I do tech support for field techs. They are doing what I used to do basically. Only I know way more and am much better than they are.
I'm not going to say the company I work for. I never know what I might say and who may read it. Then be offended. Then place a call to my company and talk about whatever I may say to offend and how I did it on their time. Then my company would have a reason to terminate me. Not that I havent already given them pages of reason over the last 14-15 years. But I dont like for them to have any more ammunition than they need.

im glad there are people in your biz with spines.

then again, most tech people I end up talking to (my parents use ME as their tech support for everything) are usually pretty relieved that I actually know what I'm doing with computers and that I don't yell :D

Dude tech support is actually a pretty fun job. There are some bad people who just want to scream but they are really fun to screw with because the nicer you sound the more pissed off they get. I used to work tech support for a guy who flipped houses and his clients would call with some really dumb problems... pretty entertaining.
