What do you think it will be? Things seem to be pretty even right now, and that will surely change.

Palin came on and really stirred things up a couple of weeks back, but that seems to have calmed down there. We have the debates, and I am curious to see them. I don't know that we will see anything earth shattering though.

Since Plain, it's been a bunch of non-issues to me.

Lipstick comment
Palin's email hacked
BO adviser and JM campaign mgr being knee deep into Fannie/Freddie
Kindergarten sex ed
Troopergate

Of those, the only one that can go much further in my opinion are Troopergate, if Palin is charged or found to have done mroe than she is saying it could get ugly. Or the Fannie/Freddie fallout, although there seems to be finger prints all over this from every side.

So where do you think it may come up?

I think the most pressing issue to most voters is what's going on with the economy.

I think the most glaring issue is abortion. Sure the economy is on the edge of collapse but what the candidates think about Roe v Wade is what is going to get my vote.

I don't disagree with either of you. I am thinking of something else.

The economic plans for the candidtes are known as are their stances on RvW.

I think the camps are hard at work finding something out to sway the undecideds. Granted we are in TX and not a battleground state like Ohio/WVA/VA, but we will see it.

I don't think we have seen much lately, although they are certainly trying.

Hillary substituting for Biden as VP Candidate.

That would indeed be huge.

I would see that as a negative for the BO campaign. I think the undecideds would see that as a huge backtrack and almost ensure a McCain victory.
