The total freakin' irony in this story is that the old mans car only gets about 1 or 2 miles per gallon more than a Hummer does.....God knows I hope I don't get that dodgy in 22 more years.....

And to think... I thought it was Arlington fans..:D
Good for him. So he keys some kids car now they have to drive two separate vehicles 20 miles to get it painted. Well all the painting supplies have to be shipped from several hundred miles away. Then the kid drives back home 20 miles with two separate vehicles
Very effective at curbing carbon emissions.

They were talking about this on the radio today. Appearently the guy doesn't like hummers because of their "carbon footprint", however his wife drives an SUV Lexus, so my guess is that probably has a carbon footprint of its own.

apparently they only had proof of one keying, but he waived his Miranda Rights and the police wormed a confession to the rest out of him.
5 felonies, max. sentence of 5 years each, to a 72 year old man, 25 years is a life sentence

They should just execute him. 25yrs = life for this old fart. That means that we get to pay for all his medical expenses and stuff until he finally keels over. We should help him along. Besides, he just proved he's mental. So he's useless to society on top of being a criminal.
The more reasonable side of me says that they should make him pay for the damages and perform community service.

yeah, one of my relatives is on a homeowner's association committee with him, and apparently the irony is that he is a huge stickler for following the letter of the law in the committee.

Who wants a hummer anyways?
I'm a Ford guy personally but I've always driven a truck and not a SUV, if I was driving an SUV, I would either drive a 4 Runner or a freaking Yukon. Much nicer than Hummers.

Indeed. The kid had it coming IMO. I was driving an Infiniti SUV and thus filled up majority of the spot i was in, ****** bag decide to park next to me, opened the door and put a nick in my door and i'm sitting right there he didn't say sorry or nothing. He deserved it. Granted it was last year, but still, the kid should use his brain.

If I drove a car I would definitely be driving an infiniti. That is one awesome vehicle.
It seems everyone in my profession drives an infiniti. Well the guys do at least. Those things have some power and are freaking sweet.

You have that, plus that the guy was worried about the carbon footprint of Hummer's but he has a 14 year old car that probably has worse emissions than a new Hummer. And, his wife has a Lexus SUV that has a carbon footprint. And, he said he did it because of "financial stress", but owns a house in SL and was going on a European trip in a couple of weeks. Something tells me there are many others that could complain about financial stress before him.

Maybe he can set up an HOA or a crime watch in Cell Block D.
