I know it didn't affect the outcome and probably beating a dead horse, but how does Green Bay NOT get the personal foul on Barber after he's tackled, bounces up and then gets blasted again?

The penalty flag was thrown then they said that there was no foul. Could the whistle have been that slow?

I see a lot of these "waved off" flags in the NFL. If you see the foul and throw the flag, then call it.

It's like, with the "incidental Facemask" penalty now gone, I have seen a lot of Facemask penalties NOT called.

The Philly/Dallas game was silly with the non call.

I didn't see it - but Brad Sham on the radio disagrees with you. He seemed to think it was the right call. Again - I was listening, not watching then - I might agree with you.

You should have seen it.

Barber jumped up and looked like he was making a move to keep running downfield. The whistle hadn't blown yet, so the lineman or LBer (don't remember which) tackled him.

I'm glad they picked up the flag, it wasn't a penalty.

It was a good no-call.

Yes... the whistle hadnt blown yet... and the way Marion plays, like a pinball, the cheese didnt know he was down and made a smart play to make sure of it... And if you noticed, Marion didnt make a fuss either.

Lot of plays with double penalties called as well. More than usual.

One declined and another accepted.

absolutely the right call.

I agree with the number of non-calls on incidental facemasking. SOMEONE is going to get hurt and then they will change the rule back.

i didn't think it was a bad call. if you're the defender, are you going to assume a guy like Barber is down? You'll be watching a lot of TD celebrations if you think like that.

I didn't think it was dirty. I think the defender truly thought it was a live ball, especially with barber's running style. Just like a beaten CB or safety, it's better to get the penalty when you're beaten than to give up 6.
