This will be an outstanding game! there will be speedsters all over the field.. In my opinion who ever makes the least amount of mistakes will win this game, no doubt..... who has the advantage? westfield because they dominated last year? North Shore because they looked so good against pearland and are playing at home? :eek:

Westfield vs. North Shore. This is as good as it gets.
It will come down to two things:
1. Who even makes the least amount of mistakes and;
2. Who ever has the ball last.

I don't want to dissapoint anyone, but anytime you have this much speed on the field it could very easily be a blowout.

To be honest if you would have asked me this before last night id say westfield. But after seing NS last night id have to say NS Might pull this one off. They were extremely focused and intense all game unlike last year. Also they have homefield advantage. I got a good laugh last night when i heard that westfields AD contacted our AD and tried to play lamar at GPISD lol good try but not good enough!! I just cant wait. I get chills just thinking about it.

Honestly, this is a great match-up, but it is secondary to the Longview Lufkin third round if both teams make it, and the winner facing SLC if the manage to get by Abilene, Abilene and SLC will be a huge third round tilt, however not to take anything away from the race horses, this is a ball to prove who is the stallion of the two...

well first of i would like to start by saying where are all the p-landers at i thought for sure they would be on here, but i am not the one to rub it in your face in fact i want to do the opposite you guys played a hell of a game out there last night especially in the 2nd half. i mean yall never gave up but we have to many weapons, and that what we northshore people kept trying to tell you all last week but you didnt listen though. #54 boy you are something special i saw you basically the whole game and you had some bone crushing hits in this game. i mean for your defense to be on the field as long as they were you kept penetrating time after time again but like you said size doesnt matter i believe it did last night, but you are a great player good luck on the next level. now on to westfield, man this is game need to be televised on ESPN for the nation to see. i believe if you put these 2 teams together they would beat the COLTs this weekend if they took the texans place. that is how good these 2 teams are. i am not going to predict anything i am going to go to the game and have cheer my northshore mustangs to victory. this is the way i want it last year their house and they opened our eyes. chris riser said it perfect in the chronicle this morning " we still know what they did to us last year" these boys are ready, they did not overlook pearland like everyone said they would. they went out and executed and won big, now westfield.
GO MUSTANGS (NORTHSHORE THAT IS)...................

It seems this years game between these two Mustangs is being hype and anticipated a great deal more than last years was, why is that?

I bet the winners colors will be red and black and they'll be from the Houston area as well.

I have felt all along that Westfield was the team to beat in D1 and I am not going to change my opinion. I have been impressed with the scores that GPNS has been putting up each week though. I just think that Westfield has too many players on the field with "big game" experience having been one of last year's D1 finals teams. They just have too many good, fast athletes for most teams to handle IMHO. :cool:

NS has at least 5 players from the 03 team and like WF returned most from last year, They beat us soundly last year, no doubt about it. But our guys are alot more focused this year. It will be a classic no matter how it turns out. Alot of talent and speed on both sides. Field position will be at a premium. Don't miss this one. Region 2's turn in the spotlight will have to wait till next week.
