8-5A 3-0 Plano, East, Allen Tested but win

Good start for 8-5A. Allen, Plano and East all win close games. Congrats to all. Hopefully Plano and Allen play better next week.

East with a good comeback win in the 4th against a solid Arlington team.

Plano looked bad but beat a very average desoto team by 3

Allen: Out gained by 140 yards also got a Cedar Hill fumble on their 1 yard line. Squeaked out a much closer 21-7 win.

What are the 8-5a fan thoughts?

actually it was a lot closer than I thought. I thought that all the games would be blowouts except Arlington vs. PESH

well Plano to be honest played horribly. 3 interceptions in the first half thrown by sfikas, and penalties crippled the offense in the second half. It shouldnt have been that hard for Plano but Desoto is a good solid team. We have seen them play like crap and win imagine how good they can be if they are on fire.

The Wildcats are going to have to play much much better if they want to stay in the hunt.

Tonights performanace was not the Plano we were used to seeing earlier in the year. It seems the past few games they have stumbled a bit but found a way to win.

Although exciting its a gamble this team needs to step it up, if they play like that against either Ryan or SGP it could be a quick exit.

I am not dogging them as I know they have the talent and are good kids.

But they need to settle doen and go back to the basics that made them 10-0

I do give a shout out to East for winning their game against AHS good job Panthers, it looks like they will have Trinity next week so good luck on that one.
