Thank-you Plano's Alex Lott for saving Plano's season

If it wasn't for Alex Lott's HUGE!! 40 yard leaping catch over 2 defenders on a 3rd and 20 with 5 minutes to go 3rd quarter. PLANO would be 10-1 and out. Desoto had just drove it down Plano's throat 75 yards taking 7 minutes off the clock and had all the momentum and a 14-10 lead. That catch allowed Plano to continue their drive and eventually score the winning touchdown.

As a passionate Plano fan, Tonights turnover, penalty infested squeak fest of 17-14 over Desoto was more relief than joy.

I am first to talk smack about Plano but tonights performance was their worst of the year. PLANO needs to continue to run and run some more. 3 first half INT's is not Plano Football. If they continue to play this way then SGP will whip our butts.

Good news is good teams find a way to win when playing poorly. Plano won Got their 1st Playoff game jitters out of the way. Hopefully we will see better performance. My smack is whack until Plano puts in a complete game :(

I was glad to see both of our Plano teams win in the end, but neither game was all that pretty. Please take no offense, but the Plano team really looked off their game out there. Like you said, 3 Int before half-time will kill them with a better opponent in the next round. Good thing they already had the lead going into the 4th quarter, because all those penalties near the end would have killed them otherwise. Way too many "Oh my God" moments in that game tonight.

Both games were certainly nail biters, and they both need to step up their game before next week.

It sure was fun though, to see everyone from Plano cheering on both of our teams tonight. Looking forward to next week, but hope to see fewer costly errors and penalties.

Then he better do alot better than he has done the last 2 weeks. Brences play calling was terrible, but when you run the same pass plays for 10 games, even little league can learn how to stop it.
Desoto knew what Plano would do and had great game plan for it. Desoto is a fast team.

DeSoto is a team that gives everyone problems in the playoffs.......it doesn't matter who they are......they could beat anyone in the state. They have some athletes......

That catch by Alex was amazing, he always seems to come up with a big catch at the right time.
