I went to a local game here in Toledo. The home team has about 500 students in their high school. They had 31 players on the football team, but THIRTY-FIVE cheerleaders. Apparently they let anyone who wants to cheer be on the cheerleading squad. Has anyone ever seen a situation like this before?
(By the way, I left just after halftime with the visitors winning 54-6. Yes, that is a halftime score. The team I was there to watch was on the winning end of that one.)

Are you sure they were all from that school? Did they have the exact same uniforms? Sometimes the older middle school cheerleaders will come and cheer with the high school cheerleaders or they also could be the JV/freshman cheerleaders. Who knows, it's just a thought. :)

I thought the same thing, but they were wearing the same uniforms. None of them looked young enough to be junior high girls either. I think it's just a cheerleader crazy school. God knows they don't have a football team to be cheering for.
