Plano with a win Friday will be the first 5A team in history to post 700 all time wins and almost the first school in Texas history to get to 700 only HP squeaked by it.
Expect a big game from Burkhead to seal the deal for 700:D

HP started the year at 699 and are 3-0.
Amarillo started at 698 and are 2-1.
Plano will be the 3rd team in Texas with 700.

Zach. You know something i don't. Are we bringing back our 92 team. If you have been watching the same team as i have, We can't beat leander.how the hell are we going to beat plano. Are the coaches all of a sudden going to get smart with out playcalling. Is our QB all of a sudden going to learn how to throw a deep ball, because he can't hit the broad side of a barn at this point. This is the only time i would love to eat crow but i don't see it.

What if they NEVER get it?It would be kinda ironic if they lost the rest of their games this season and then just decided to pack up the football program. ;)

you should read his post again.
he said that Plano will be the "first 5A" team to reach 700 wins in Texas, then he later on states that they are "almost" the first team to do so. I dont know what your problem is with everyone but i have a feeling you wont be on here much longer.

He also said HP was the only team to squeak by the 700 mark.
He also said HP was the only team to squeak by the 700 mark.
When refering to who was first... No???

That's not how I read it. He would've said "only HP and Amarillo squeaked by."

does it all really matter? If plano wins they reach 700 wins, if they lose they have the rest of the season to get it.
after this season plano probably will be leading 5A in most wins.

But more importantly they will never have to worry about not being in the lead in complete and total suck. Long live Plano:notworthy

700 wins?, I hardly noticed. ANY school that can lay claim to that milestone has accomplished something to be proud of.
However, I hope we have bigger goals to achieve this year.

Paradox169------------------------like Bowie dog said--------------you should read that post again------------------no, it doesn't matter if they win or not-------------I was just correcting an incorrect statement---------------you should read before you write. It really doesn't matter to me whether they get it or not------------they won't be the first 5A team to do it and they won't be(as he said "almost) the first team in Texas high school history------------------Plano will be neither one-----------they will just be the 2nd 5A team or 3rd team overall to do so-----------------just correcting an incorrect statement------------------as you tried to do but did so incorrectly-----------------are you still with me??

Last time I checked both Plano and Amarillo had the same largest classification hardware as SLC (4 largest classification state titles) and HP has 2 of their own (which equals Trinity's total to date).
But I understand your point DragonBand06

But I understand your point DragonBand06Yeah I wan't trying to imply that Amarillo or Plano are not good, but to say that a team is lacking because of their total # of wins...?

its common sense that a team with less than 600 total wins stand no chance against a school with over 600 total wins.;)
